I highly recommend this mathnasium off Lockwood in Oviedo. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and my daughter went from a failing grade to consistant A's. What other recommendation do you need than that? My daughter goes to mathnasium about 3x weekly, at the beginning we were going 4-5x weekly so she could get caught up the three years she was behind. She is now at high school and doing exceptionally well in math. it is wonderful when she is working on a new chapter at school to know she will get support and help at mathnasium, thereby enabling her to successfully navigate her school's math curriculum. In order to succeed however, both the parent and the child need to be invested, you cannot go once a month and expect to succeed. You have to invest time every week but isn't it worth it? this is your child's entire future that you and I are trying to help with. I hope this helps anyone thinking of attending mathnasium.

We have 2 kids attending Mathnasium. It has made a big difference with confidence. They also offer extra help getting the kids ready for the FSA testing, another reason for the boost in confidence. Always great to see the friendly staff at local events, being involved in the community.

We have had a good experience and it has helped our child gain confidence. Unfortunately, it is cost prohibitive over the long haul.

We are two working parents that just could not find the time after school to bring our child's math grade up we saw mathnasium commercials and decoded to to use them to help our child bring her low grade up in math, we are actually watching our child progress in in her math class in school also she has developed a studing habit we are very impressed thanks to mathnasium very professional staff and their teaching methods

The Oviedo Team at Mathnasium is always friendly and supportive, and my son is making steady progress as well as building his confidence in his math skills. We only wish there were more hours/days of availability to benefit more from what Mathnasium offers since we have a packed family schedule.

The staff and management at OVIEDO Mathnasium are wonderful! They are fully engaged with each kid and their needs! My son turned his grade around in his Algebra 2 from a D to a B by the end of the school year due to the help he received at Mathnasium!!! We are so glad we signed him up for this program! I highly recommend you do 6-12 month program for the consistency and year long help they get! I didn’t need to worry about his math grade anymore - such a relief for busy working parents!! My son told me today that Mathnasium is not as bad as he thought it was going to be and that he is glad he is going. That is huge coming from someone who was very upset to have been signed up. He always speaks highly of the teachers and recognizes that they are trying to help him succeed.

my daughter has been coming to mathnasium in Oviedo for about 3 years now, maybe a little longer! she was failing at math at school and hated the subject. She was approx. 3 years behind in her knowledge and mathnasium gradually brought her up to the level she should be at. She has gone from a D to an A. She no longer hates math either, like I said to her "if you can do it, you wont hate it". However, as a parent, I would advise you that you need to be consistent bringing your child into mathnasium, it will not work if they attend a couple of times a month. My daughter goes regularly at least 3 x weekly for an hour and in the school holidays she gets rewarded if she attends a total of 30x. Remember this is what we need to do as parents to make our children's adult lives successful, so it is a commitment you and your child must take, but it is not that hard and once they start succeeding they will love attending! The staff are great and very attentive, and invested in your child's success!

Mathnasium is a life saver for our son. He had been skipped essentially 2 grade levels due to his high performance in the FSA testing at the end of last year, but as a result he was completely lost with the math that was being assigned this year, leading to very frustrating late homework nights that were draining and stressful for our whole family! Mathnasium instantly - literally after his first lesson - gave him the confidence and the skills to accelerate his learning to the point that he struggles the least out of everyone in his class, even after skipping 2 grade levels! He also enjoys the company of the teachers at Mathnasium, as they’re young (and therefore automatically cool) and personable. It’s pricy. Not gonna lie. But if our son is willing to do 7.5 hours of extra homework every week - eagerly - then I am supportive - both morally and financially, lol.

Our son continues to come out of his sessions with a smile, and his understanding is improving as he gets help mastering former math gaps.

It’s the people. Our kids have the chance to see people who love math. That example makes it okay to want to excel.

We’ve had a great experience so far. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Great instructors

Our son, who is getting ready to start high school in the fall and is retaking Algebra I for summer school, has yet to come out unhappy from his Mathnasium sessions. He may go in a little grumpy (probably due to "losing" some game time ;-) ), but his teachers always have him come out a happier guy. Not having digital distractions and getting face-to-face time is important to me as his parent, and my son enjoys the time with his Mathnasium teachers and the admin. He is getting stronger grades, which is what we would expect and why we initially signed him up, but the fact he enjoys his visits is a major plus.

It's my daughter favorite place, and she got higher grades than before. Thanks for this great experience.

Marissa is doing well; I will be curious to see what some of her re-evaluation results will be after the 8-12 weeks. She doesn't complain much about going so I think it's a pretty great atmosphere! We did some state testing a week ago and she did much better than last year. Thanks!

Mathnasium has been a blessing! Starting January, our son was struggling with a D in math. By April, he had brought his grade up to a B along with his confidence. Thank you Mathnasium!!

The staff are very attentive and work well with our 15 yr old. His grade is up a full letter grade this past 9 weeks exam :) Hard work and a proven method - works! If your child needs help, don’t wait, sign up now so the next 9 weeks exam is better !
