We have 2 of our kids at Mathnasium. Our 10 year old really progressed an our 16 year old is also finding benefit from the sessions.
My only reservation is that the effectiveness of the classes relies heavily on the tutor and we find some tutors more apt to be better at their task than others. That is understandable but overall all the tutors do well.
They are patient and have taught my son so much!

My 13 & 7 year old really enjoy learning their math @ Mathnasium!!! It makes us happy because not only are they learning math but they are having fun with it!!!
My daughter was failing math when I found Mathnasium. The tutors were kind and patient and helped grow her confidence. She jumped up to a B within months and held it for the remainder of the year. They were are life saver for a mom that isn't so great at math.

My children have ALWAYS loved Mathnasium. They have fun learning without feeling overwhelmed. They work even harder when there is a prize they want to beat other kids. My daughter said it’s motivation for her to get her mastery check. So yes, I would recommend Mathnasium for parents who are trying to find a way for their child to not be intimidated by math.
