My daughter loves going to Mathnasium, she is engaged and comes out of the site excited to tell us what she learned and how many pages she completed. It's great to see her feel competent about what she's accomplished.

Dirk does a great job over at the Sarasota Mathnasium -- as an instructor as well as in relation to managing that operation; he brings a great positive energy, which helps with the students' motivation

My daughter, Samantha, loves going to Mathnasium to get the help she needs with concepts she doesn't grasp. My husband. and I used to take turns to try and help her but a lot of times it would not turn out so productive because of the power struggles..."that's not how the teacher showed it!" Dirk at Mathnasium is exceptional with all the students based on what I can hear from the waiting room. There's no more Math stress and I know she's only been there for a short time, I know she will improve her grade on the next quarter report card. I love the fact that they assess them initially and go over concepts she did poorly on so that she will actually know it next time she needs to use it. It's pricey but much cheaper than paying an hourly tutor...so worth the investment!!
My daughter likes that the tutors are young and she receives good thorough help from them. She responds well to the candy reward system! Most importantly, there has been a significant improvement in her math skills. She was struggling at school with her first ever C's and B's and now she is getting straight A's. Mathnasium is filling the gaps where she needs help and is giving her a complete foundation of undertanding. It has given back her confidence and she able to tackle harder math with a good attitude.
I wish (as does she) there was a science tutoring component as well!
My son has been struggling at school. Since coming to mathnasium I've seen a drastic change. He truly enjoys coming to mathnasium & has become interested in learning. This has translated into him also really enjoying his school work. I'm still waiting fyi see if this is a dream-no exaggeration!!

So far math class this year has been much less stressful than in years past. In addition math grades have improved and she now "likes" math.
