It's been sound in building a solid foundation going into this school year with math.
My daughter actually likes going! She goes an average of 4 times a week... because she wants to!! She loves that she is refreshing what she knows, fine tuning what she has challenges with, and is getting direction on her homework so that she is keeping current with all School assignments, quizzes and tests! Her math confidence has sky rocketed! It’s no longer her “dreaded” subject. She received an A on her first math test of the year! She was so proud of herself and beaming!! I’m grateful!

We’ve done other Maths programs before - Mathnasium is his top pick. The one-to-one approach helps him understand the concepts & basics which is crucial in Maths. I believe if the foundation blocks (of Maths) are solid then Maths becomes easy & fun. Mathnasium helps build a solid foundation.
Mathnasiun has been great for my son. I think he combination of providing math problems for him to work on as well as providing assistance with homework really improves skills. I would only say that it is often difficult to get to/from mathnasiun in the 5:00/6:00 hour so any move to have more seating/instructors available earlier like 3:30/4:00 would be great!
We have been very happy with Mathnasium thus far. Our daughter loves to go (she actually asks to go!), and we've seen her confidence in math grow tremendously, even in a short period of time.

My daughter has a slight learning disability. Because of this she has never been very excited about school. She loves Mathnasium and wants to go everyday. She now wants to work on math!

I don't how my daughter is progressing because we have really only just begun but am encouraged that she shows ownership in making time for Mathnasium each day it is available. She is very positive about the experience - a far cry from where she started. She would usually avoid math and talk about her abilities in very discouraged tone and attitude. I'm very glad she has a chance to see that math is doable.
