Although we had a rocky start, due to an instructor using foul language as he came on the call (he may have been signing a rap song and sang the words as he joined my daughter's session), and that same instructor was rude to my daughter for going ahead, after speaking with Xavier about this incident, we have not experienced any further problems. Both my daughter's are getting much out of online tutoring!

My children started on Feb 2020 and due to Coronavirus situation had to stop but I really think Mathnasium is a good learning resource! The staff is great! Very friendly, and communicate with the parents at the end of the session. Xavier is amazing, he is very understanding and helpful!! I highly recommend it! They really love what they do (help children/ anyone understand math!).

The instructors are knowledgeable and patient, they make my son feel comfortable while still teaching him, plus they give him the confidence to tackle algebra head on.

This is where you send your children to learn in an enriching environment amongst peers who are typically attending to advance their current mathematics-skill set. The staff is great, especially in attending to the children in a comprehensive and thought provoking manner. This is especially important for children who may be scared to death to ask questions in front of the class, or who may have fear of ridicule within the classroom for not knowing a particular mathematics like combinatorics or or simply algebra. This type of environment is especially crucial to set an arena of learning and gives the students a sense of a community striving for similar efforts. Xavier Ruiz-Pantoja is the true leader (Center Director) at the Monterey Park location. He's not boss but an actual laureate of Mathnasium, a real success story. He's the key component in the success at this location. He's been strategically placed here for the children's success, he's paying it forward, and any child who attends should feel lucky their parents care enough for this type of specialized curriculum, and educational nurturing. Good job Mathnasium!

Very attentive instructors and I often get weekly/bi-weekly verbal feedback on my stepson's progress.

My older sons used to go to Mathnasium
years ago . They always did well on testing and my boys always felt welcomed and at ease when receiving help from tutors at the Mathnasium Center. Management has always been approachable and easy to talk to regarding the progress of my boys . Fast forward to today where we now have to adjust to a new way of living due to the Pandemic . My younger sons are now doing Mathnasium online . I really didn’t know what to think about tutoring online but as I’ve observed the last few weeks I can say Mathnasium is doing what they do best and that is teach math and in various ways , encourage and help kids succeed. My 3 boys actually enjoy their sessions . Thank you to Mathnasium and to the great tutors !
