My soon to be 8th grade daughter has used Mathnasium in Denville in a variety of ways over the past few years. This summer she completed the Algebra Boot Camp. She found this camp incredibly helpful and feels well prepared for her upcoming Honors Algebra course. She has already stated that she will be enrolling in the Geometry Boot Camp next summer. The Denville staff is awesome and Debbie, the owner, is fantastic. My family highly recommends Denville’s Mathnasium programs for those who need extra help or those who are looking to get/stay ahead!

Denville Mathnasium makes math easier and fun! The instructors are great. There is feedback of what your child learned at every session. There are monthly assessments and annual reviews.

The kids learn a lot
I am so pleased with how much my son is learning at Mathnasium. The tailored curriculum is super important. The kids really enjoy coming. When I raised an area that my son needed help in, Debbie the owner ensured that he was provided extra help in learning to slow down and read the word problems very carefully. Debbie truly cares about all of her students and parents.

We are so pleased with our child’s experience at Mathnasium-Denville since starting 3 months ago. We signed up hoping the program would increase our child’s confidence and reduce some of the anxiety they were feeling about math at school. We had heard good things from other parents and liked that the system was not just rote memorization and endless drilling. In our opinion it really has been an unmitigated success, grades are excellent and now our child finds math fun! I would recommend Debbie Lum and her team without hesitation.
Teaching is personalized.
My high school junior was struggling with precalculus so we signed him up with mathnasium. He is getting the skills he will need to be successful, not only in precalculus but also on the SATs or ACTs. It is also a big help when he has homework because it is immediately explained for him and he doesn't have to wait until his next precalculus class with 20 other kids and their questions. He may not love the extra hours of math, but he will admit that it is definitely helping him!
Is very important for my daughter
Debbie has been great to work with and very accommodating. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful at explaining the problems that they do at the center. The curriculum is individualized and based on areas that the student can use improvement, so it doesn’t perfectly line up with what they’re working on in school. But it definitely translates to improved understanding of what is being taught.
I home school my 7th grader and I bring him to Mathnasium five times a week. He loves coming and they always tell me how hard he works there. I appreciate all the help they give me.
We love Debbie and Mathnasium! We looked at other places and nothing compares. It’s expensive, but worth it on so many levels! Couldn’t be happier!
We would like the center send us some documents(questions, subjects) done at Mathnasium. Everything stays inside the folder and parents can’t see anything. Also less play time would be better. Other things are great.
