Initially, my daughter was very upset to need tutoring in math. However, after her 1st visit at Mathnasium, her feelings completely changed. She now asks me when her next session is! The instructors are wonderful. Very small group sessions are a big plus.
I came to Mathnasium not because my child was struggling with grade level math, rather I wanted him to get specific help on learning how to break down more complex word problems for an upcoming math contest (5th grade math for 4th grade students). He really enjoyed the 3 sessions he had prior to the test and asked if he could continue at Mathnasium. I was thrilled he asked so I signed up for 10/1hr sessions for the Summer. I think the Summer Sessions will be great for recapping the school year/continuity/continued higher learning.
My child's confidence has increased and she is getting better grades
My daughter just started the program very recent and she likes it compared to other programs that she had taken before. She loves the one on one attention and as parent I like the communications. I'm being informed about everything. I also like the assessment that my daughter was given to see where her skills set is.
