Mathnasium was highly recommended by a good friend. We signed up our daughter a couple weeks ago and think it was one of the best move we made to improve her math skills. We love Karen and her team at Mathnasium in Great Neck, NY! We cannot wait to be back in the fall - my son flourished for the last 6 months while he attended. We had to pause due to other activities but we will be back! Karen is very accommodating and her team is patient, thorough and know how to approach different learning styles.

My child (in kindergarten) is able to explain what was taught. The levels of learning taught at Mathnasium are much better than common core because children understand the work and are not just memorizing procedures on how to solve problems. The flow of increased difficulty is sensible, not random. Children get to always review past skills learned.

My son Legend loves to attend Mathnasium 2 times a week. He has formed an attachment to Tiffany and he seems to enjoy attending tutoring classes. Tiffany breaks down and explains the problem if he is struggling. He is gaining math skills along with the confidence to do well on school assignments. Mathnasium is truly benefitting my son and I would highly recommend it to others.

She breaks down concepts in simple terms. She makes it fun for him and he is making great progress. He loves the cards that earn him prizes. I am so glad to have found Mathnasium. They are the best!
Lucky to have the Great Neck Mathnasium near our home. Our son who was not great in Mathematics went there for improving his skill. Very nice staff and knowledgeable teachers.
Karen, who is managing the center is great too and extremely flexible around changing class schedule.
One more thing I would like to add is the great communication regarding any change is schedule for the center itself, whether it is due to a storm or upcoming holiday.

My daughter has been studying with Mathnasium for over two years now. She loves everything there! Great motivation (games, rewards), nice and helpful tutors; she even makes new friends there. Mathnasium is also very understanding about a busy child's schedule and accommodates changes and makeups. I would totally recommend it if your child needs extra help, wants to preview new material or just want some math practice!
My daughters love their 1 hour math meet up at this locations . Karen is very responsive and accommodating and I have peace in mind that she is managing the center with perfection .

Legend loves to attend the classes. He looks forward to working with his tutor. He tries hard to complete as many math pages as he can. He likes the idea of getting a tangible reward for completing math pages.
It only took my daughter less than 2 months to catch up with her grade level math. The tutors at the Great Neck location are extremely patient and caring.
