Customer Testimonials
We t happy our kids r here!
Our daughter was plenty smart to do her math assignments, but did not have the patience. The discipline on sitting through the sessions online has made all of the difference in the world in her math work at school.
I love how my daughter got better in math and her scores. Before going there she had to spend lots of time in her homework trying to remember things. Later going to mathnasium she could remember things easily and learned some new techniques to go with it to make math more easier.
Jennifer and David's team at Almaden are incredibly supportive. My student became more confident with her math skills with their guidance.
Our expierence with Mathnasium has been wonderdul! Our daughter went up in math and she learned many new techniques she can apply in math. I would recommend them.
Great program! Both my girls never complained about going (which is huge)
My daughter was able to bring up her high school math grade with the help of the Almaden Mathnasium staff. Tutoring time was wisely divided between foundational skills she needed based on the Mathnasium assessment, and assistance with her homework.
Great experience very professional.
I appreciated the fact that my son didn’t bring home math worksheets to complete at home. My son loved the incentive prizes. I also appreciated the progress reports. He did very well this semester in math receiving an “A” grade, but more importantly, he regained his confidence.
Great flexible schedule that meets ours. Nice facilities, great teachers. Our Kid loves it!
My son really enjoyed himself at Mathnasium Almaden, learning trigonometry and doing number sense problems. The instructors were wonderful. This center definitely provides a positive and nurturing environment for kids to do Math.
Awesome learning place. My daughter loves her instructors and owners a lot. Thanks to all the wonderful instructors for making a difference in my daughter's life.
The staff is fantastic at creating a rapport with my son.
My daughter for the first time begun to enjoy Math and that means so much to us both.It breaks a parents heart to see your child cry in frustration and I have seen her joy and excitement for Classes at Mathnazium and that is priceless.Thank you.I get the sense that you do care and its not just about the dollar.
I like how you assess the students strengths and focus on the portions that students need help with.
Also, it was a plus that your tutors would help with actual homework.
We absolutely love Mathnasium. The owners and the tutors are all extremely qualified and they have excellent customer service skills. I am still in awe that my daughter goes into the center eagerly and comes out with an even bigger smile. She doesn't want the time to end and she's on fire for math when she leaves. The only reason we stopped attending is because my high school daughter's after school athletic calendar got too full for Spring. We'll definitely be back and we've referred numerous families. Can't say enough good stuff about the Almaden site. Thank you!
I like the tutors are adults instead students. They are wonderful teachers
Mathnasium was a good experience and it taught my child how to do math efficiently and it improved his math skills greatly
We liked the philosophy of Mathnasium. Ryan thought the tutors were helpful. Unfortunately it would not help him with his trig/pre-calc class. The opportunity to go back and learn what he had missed is great. Perhaps he could do that during the summer but he really needed help with his current math class. Also the price was high. We ended up going with WyzAnt and hired a tutor who comes to our house. The price is more affordable. Thank you for all your help and I have recommended your service. Unfortunately everyone felt the price was too high.
Hi Shari! We are so glad you found a tutor that works well for Ryan, and we appreciate you taking time to post a review even though you chose to seek out other options. The cost of Mathnasium is definitely influenced by attendance. For high school students attending about 2-3 times per week (the recommendation), the cost comes out to about $30 per visit, which is about half of what most private tutors charge. Some students even come every day after school, bringing the cost down to under $18 per session! Half of each hour session is dedicated to any homework the student has from school, so Ryan should have been receiving any homework help he needed for his Pre-Calculus class. For high school students who have a solid foundation up through Algebra and just need occasional help (maybe once per week), a private tutor can be a much more suitable option.
We really Liked the format but had to cancel because of not having enough time to go there.
