My daughter is learning a lot and is much more confident in her math skills. She also asks to go to Mathnasium, I never have to tell her she needs to go. I highly recommend Mathnasium!
My daughter hates math but loves going to Mathnasium. I am hoping that with those feeling the success she gains here will change her mind and build her confidence so math won't be a challenge but a strength. In the short two months she has attended regularly I have seen so much growth and I am very excited for her and the progress she is making.

Our son has always struggled with math. He started Summer school and a few days in we knew it wasn't going to work for him. One hour a day, 6 times a week, and he has understood more than he did all school year and in summer school. Your tutors are great and he's not complaining anymore about going in. He actually enjoys it.

My daughter actually enjoys attending Mathasium!
We just started mathnasuim about two months ago and my kids love it they are always eager to go for tutoring at mathnasuim and for this short period I have noticed my kids interest and confidence in math has improved and am excited about the coming months for them because I know they will be much better in math .
We have been extremely pleased with our son's experience at Mathnasium over the summer. He came home and told us that he loved Mathnasium! When we asked why he liked it so much, he said, "Because it's fun, and now I understand why all of these math functions work the way they do." This was music to our ears. The special teaching methods used at Mathnasium seem to be working, and decoding the common core method that's taught at his school, which we all found confusing. I must also sing the praises of David and Jennifer Krull, who own and manage the Almaden location. They run a very professional operation, are a pleasure to deal with, and really care about meeting your child's individual needs.
I have used many other services, but none have ever captured my daughter's interest as much Mathnasium. I am extremely pleased with my daugher's interest and how much she has learned such short time she has attended these fun and educational classes.
I think Mathnasium if a great program tailored to each students needs with one on one support.

MY daughter has participated, without complaint, and shown improvement faster than expected. Getting a teenager to do anything without complaint is a feat, and if she'll go do math without a struggle, you guys are doing something very right!
My daughter doesn't refuse to go. She practice math regularly now. She doesn't hate math any more. I'll say that an improvement. As she continue to do so, she will be where I'd like to her to be. Math is everywhere. She doesn't need to love it but she can't hate it.
This is really working out for us. My grandson loves it. Hes feeling confident about school coming up. Its so convenient to not be locked into a time. Cant think of anything we dont like. Thanks!
The instructors are very helpful in guiding my children through their lessons. They also try to show them new ways to do math. It is always something they look forward to sharpen up their skills.
The instructors are very positive with Vincent. An hour is short enough to keep him on task. I do feel he his progressing.
The candies are really a silly treat but he loves getting the lollipops. Whatever works is good with me.

He really likes all the coaches. I am happy that my son is getting the help he needs to understand math and not be intimidated by it. So far we are very happy with Mathnasium and would definitely recommend them to friends.

Our daughter was very resistant to having a math tutor, although struggling with math. When she went for her assessment (about 2 hours) said is seemed so short! David even taught her a little math "magic" trick which she had lots of fun with, showing to family and friends. She actually LOVES going to Mathnasium. Her first week, she wanted to go every day and nearly did, but with spring activities in full swing it is a little more difficult to find the time to keep up with that pace now. She is shy and I have been very proud of how she goes in and finds an instructor to sit with, without hesitation. She has had at least 9 different instructors and has said they are all very nice. I know her math confidence is improving, as her teacher just mentioned to me that she has been participating and raising her hand now in regard to math issues. We are so far very happy with the early results. :)
Our daughter WANTS to go to Mathnasium. And just today she said, "I'm good at fractions". It's the confidence building that all kids CAN be good at math and it can be fun that is what I appreciate most about Mathnasium.
I wish you only offered non candy items in your store.and new games.something that can be played in 5 min.thanks
Hi Angelina! Thank you for your feedback. We actually have lots of non-candy choices in the Reward Cabinet. Feel free to tell your student "no more candy." :-) We encourage them to save their punch cards, as well, to get bigger and better rewards (none of which are food items.) We also have games that are easily played in less than 5 minutes, but we let the students choose the game. Once the students are at their game time, please feel free to let them know if you wish to leave in a timely manner. Our instructors love playing with the kids, and if it's not busy, will happily let the kids sit and play for a long time!
Friendly staff, very helpful tutors and the kids seem to like it!!
Very easy process, easy to talk to and to work with and convenient hours.
My daughter really seems to enjoy the program and likes the instructors. For me, the content is good. I was appreciative of the progress report.
The one thing that I will say is that she hasn't gotten to play games with any of the instructors and I think that is because she is shy and afraid to ask. It might be nice if they asked her at the end of her session. I think that would help make things funner.
