The remote option has been great and my middle daughter is incredibly competent and confident with math now like her older sister was after her time with Mathnasium. If the sibling discounts were larger I would enroll her younger sister (our 3rd daughter) sooner but as it is right now the younger is looking forward to starting when her older sister wraps up in a month or two at the end of her 8th Grade. Mathnasium has been excellent and Eunice has been great.

Although my daughter was regarded as adequate at math in her school I had concerns about how the standards of her school measured up to other schools, and how she would measure up to her peers once she completed middle school. I want her to be good at math not only because it is an important life skill but also because she is interested in science in general and most sciences are built on a foundation of math. For these reasons I enrolled her in Mathnasium. She has been enrolled for over a year now and her skill and confidence in math has increased dramatically. Not only does she look forward to math class at school and her Mathnasium tutoring, but she also discusses math problems with her friends from school and has become a resource for them when they don't understand a problem. Additionally her increase in math skill has been a bonus with her High School testing since she's currently in 8th grade. We did have some concerns with the transition to remote tutoring earlier in 2020 but Mathnasium handled it very well and the remote format is now my daughter's preference. I can't say enough good things about Mathnasium.

overall experience has been very good--recently my child has been going over stuff she feels like she already knows so doesn't feel like getting as much out of it but generally has been beneficial; also, some of the new people have worked with her and even when she gets something right, they often explain to her that she did it incorrectly only to correct themselves later and/or cover up for their inexperience--this is okay-ish but does waste time and comes off as sexist since it's mostly guys explaining this stuff to her and then realizing they were wrong

I think there are some talented individuals in this organization. I still think goals need to be set for the recipient of the service with regular check-ins by the parent with Mathnasium admin.

My son Nemat is so happy

My son has been at the Mathnasium for about a year and his math grade is up. But more importantly his math fluency is up. His assessment indicated that he was missing some skills and the Mathnasium has helped him close that gap.

This was the best option to challenge my son that his school could not provide. The entire tutoring staff is bright and focused.
