My child loves Mathnasium. His experience there has ignited a flame in him for math and being successful. He comes out smiling and wishes he could go every day. His tutor, Dylan, has given him a lot of confidence. The owner, Paul, shows he really cares about kids and loves what he does. I am so grateful we signed up. I see my son staying at Mathnasium even after he reaches mastery of current objectives, because they push students to exceed expectations to develop them into the strongest student they can be. I would recommend Mathnasium to children of any level in math because the program differentiates instruction based on specific needs of each student.
Mathnasium’s a great place to help your child learn and love math. The assessment process and making sure the core elements are understood before moving on to other problems, is what’s needed in every classroom. I’m happy I discovered Mathnasium so my child can get this one on one help.

After struggling with NC High School Honors Math 2 my daughter came to me for help with her math. Ordinarily when my child needs help studying I’m more than happy to help... except with math. I would do more harm than good. Anyway, I was looking for someone who tutored math not a variety of subjects just math. I found a Mathnasium location that was close to my house and enrolled my daughter. She studied with Mathnasium for about a month then it was time for midterms. My daughter earned an A on her midterm. Needless to say we are ecstatic about the results we are seeing from working with Mathnasium. This is a program that is well worth the money you in best in your child’s education. I highly recommend Mathnasium on Timber Dr. in Garner. My daughter loves the teachers and the program. Thank you Mathnasium!
My son was struggling with the instructional methods in his middle school with-in two weeks his teacher has commented on his improvements and we had seen tremendous improvement in his school performance.
The best supplementary program for Math in our opinion.
I like that the assessments are given and that there are progress reports along the way.
I think a little more weekly work outside of weekly visits would be ok as well.
My son enjoys doing Math at Mathnasium. He says it is easy to focus and he likes the Math instructors.
We have only been with Mathnasium for 2 months now but we are starting to see our son's confidence growing and we are excited to see him keep moving in the right direction!
We are happy with the support and tutoring our son is getting. It's only been a month, so I don't have a strong opinion on how much progress he has made. I appreciate the attention he's been given and the variety of lessons. I'm very impressed with the staff because my son has said he likes working with everyone. Finally, I grateful that the staff was willing to go over a test that he had not done well on and address the concepts that he didn't understand. That immediate feedback is one thing that is missing from his math class at school. They take a test and then move on without reviewing what he didn't understand. That of course makes sense because the class must continue with the curriculum. However, as math is a subject that builds upon itself, the concepts that the students didn't "get" is a hole in their understanding. When there are too many holes, the student's learning can't progress. I see Mathnasium as filling in years of holes that have finally caught up with my son and is impeding his understanding and growth.
The center is comfortably neat, clean, quiet and organized which are all high quality characteristics conducive of a supportive learning environment.
My daughter is enjoying her sessions. She has one session left. I plan to extend her enrollment.

My son is becoming more confident in taking math tests and he enjoys the one-on-one tutoring sessions at Mathnasium. It's important for both instructors to show the kids how to do the first problem since many are visual learners. My son understands how to do the problems after he has been shown how to figure it out. Thank you for allowing me to share my input.
My son has only been participating a short time and he is becoming more confident and faster in completing his math homework. He really enjoys going and the one on one assistance in having a better understanding and appreciation of math.
The tutor is well qualified and friendly. The hours are convenient and atmosphere is supportive. My daughter went to tutoring at least 3 times per week and has already improved dramatically.
Mathnasium was the extra boost my son needed to finish high school math out. I am so thankful for all the teachers making him feel excepted and not making him feel dumb. He was really hesitant to agree he needed help, and felt like that made him dumb. But after getting started he never felt that way and I never had to beg or force him to go. I will always be thankful for each of you and the time you spent helping him succeed!
