Mathnasium has always been helpful in dealing with various issues over the course of a few years. Most importantly, our grandson has gained confidence in his math skills, and his grade has also improved to A+ at the end of his last school year.
However, their Progress Report can be a challenge to understand, and I wish that they will work towards a report that can be easier to understand, and therefore more useful in monitoring the students' progress.

The teachers are committed to educating your child in an adaptive way that suits their exact needs, and helps progress surely towards mastering math. That personal touch and customization was lacking from other math programs we tried before.
I am happy to see that my 10 years old son is getting interested in math and likes to come to his session at mathnesium. Staff are knowledgeable amd encouraging, specially the award set baes on number of stars earned makes him more motivated. I am also pleased that I can bring his math worksheet from school before a major math test. It is nice to see a functional math program.
For my kids - having the base in maths is what was most important for a busy family. As an academic - I am fully capable of taking on the teaching of lol math concepts to my children but time being the most important resource - I struggle to have a disciplined schedule to have a free head to sit down and do it properly. Mathnasium with its child friendly and drop in flexible schedule has made it work for us. I would still like my kids to notch up their grades a little but they are getting there.

My daughter came in and was assessed, her gaps identified and a plan put in place. She has been working on her gaps and the grade 11 curriculum at the same time, her confidence and enjoyment in math has greatly improved and so have her marks!
My daughter participated in a thorough assessment which was used to create a customized learning program for her based on her areas of strengths and weaknesses. I like that the program starts off ensuring a child feels confident and then builds in challenge.

Sterling's understanding of math has improved greatly. He seems excited and more energetic in his approach to math. Hos mark had improved a lot. The staff is always able to help him solve his problems and help him get ready for he next test.
