Took the time and staff knew the math

I reached out to Mathnasium because I saw an 86 on my child's report card, but her work coming home was below 70s, then increased to 70 with her teacher's help. It wasn't a true grade, but a supported grade. She was passing, but not understanding. Math is a very building block subject. You never catch up so I got her into a 16 week summer program, going 1 hour, twice a week. Her assessment showed some key gaps but they're filling in! I love their approach of mastering concepts before moving forward. No computers. She works on her own but with one on one instructions suited to her area of development. But how I really know she's getting it was a trip to the store, items on sale and she quickly calculated the savings in her head! A math and shopper skill! LOL! Best of all, she looks forward to going and said it was fun...to do math! Never thought I'd hear those words from her about math.

It’s only been a month since my daughter has started at Mathnasium but we are happy that she has a place where she gets help with her homework and she gets to work on improving her math skills. On days that she has no homework they have a personal binder from where she can work from abd her help from a tutor.

Mathnasium is a great place for building confidence in math. My son started Mathnasium in January and by May had a high B average! He has continued over the summer, and I am sure this will make a big difference this next year. He usually will push back when he doesn't like something, but Mathnasium has not been an issue. I LOVE that they will help with homework too. Worth every penny!
