Fun way to review and learn new skills.
everyone at mathnasium hancock park has been delightful. being able to drop in without an appointment is genius - and really the only way we could get math instruction in with my daughters' schedule. my only complaint would be that in the summer in would be great to have morning hours, as well, as often its easier to fit in, less traffic, she's not tired about more able to focus, etc.
My son has struggled with math for years. His first year in middle school was even more of a struggle. After hours of searching on the internet, I'm glad I found Mathnasium because it allowed him an entire summer to focus on the one area he's always struggled with and disliked. He was hesitant at first and was not looking forward to attending "math camp" BUT after only his first day he said he had fun learning math. The words fun and math would never come out of his mouth, but they did! Kai at the Santa Monica location and the staff at the Hancock Park location are all great, welcoming, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I'm excited that I finally discovered the solution to my son's math woes and am looking forward to him catching up once he begins 7th grade!!!!

My daughter has only been going for a month or so but already we see an increase in confidence when tackling challenging math problems. She loves going even after a long day of school, and has a positive and fun learning experience with every tutor she’s worked with there. Classroom is clean and organized, and the new management has been very professional in the transition. So happy we chose Mathnasium! And this branch in particular is the cherry on top.

Our daughter has thrived since starting at Mathnasium. She was being held back by some skill deficiencies and a lack of self-confidence that was setting in from being behind her peers. We love the flat monthly fee for unlimited access model that Mathnasium offers and the curriculum and staff have worked well in parallel with her studies at school.

Mathnasium has turned around my daughter's attitude on math and school work. She loves going to Mathnasium and feels more and more confident in her understanding of the common core curriculum each visit.
My 8-year old daughter started her first math tutoring session with Mathnasium of HP this summer in 2016, and it has been an absolutely amazing experience. She was reluctant to start, but from the minute she walked in, there was an immediate sense of comfort. She was welcomed with a big smile by the director, and the daunting task of an initial evaluation was suddenly made into a fun, and interesting activity. Since her first session with experienced, knowledgeable,and understanding Nothing else cosdmpares to when she actually worked with a v, when she sat with her trusted and helpful tutor, Khalil, she has looked forward to each and every session! It seems hard to believe, but math is now something she feels that can be mastered, and enjoyed. We are all so happy with the level of care and attention that has gone into this program. We would never consider another place!
