Martha and Avery have made my son enjoy Math. They teach math in a calm fun way.

Great personalized learning for each child
My daughter loves Mathnasium! Her confidence has grown exponentially in just a matter of weeks and the tutors there are great at working with her to understand difficult concepts! We are so grateful we found this place!

Cognitively gifted son absolutely loves it here, so glad I started taking him! He is able to learn and master new concepts that I wouldn't be able to teach him and that he wouldn't learn at his age in school (he is homeschooled) and I know that not only is he learning and mastering, but he is learning the right way which will benefit him in future higher level conceptual math understanding as well. I love the reward system that they have, going through the lesson completion card and he gets to pick a small prize when he completes his whole card and is excited to do so, because let's face it kids are reward driven for sure! I would definitely take my other children here when they are old enough if they needed extra help, but this is also such a great place for highly advanced kids to continue at the level they are at and continue to go higher without being held back! They master and move on, your child will not be bored at all, they will have fun learning there with highly knowledgeable instructors teaching them math the right way so they can build confidence and succeed!
Structural learning plan and progress report. I just wish monthly rate is more affordable. It seems little too high.
I don’t give 10s unless I am intimately exposed to something (and we’ve only been coming for a month) but so far, the kids really love it and their confidence and skills are both visibly improved. Great work so far !
My son was tutored for SAT and math reviews in preparation for the finals and entrance into college. The tutor evaluated my son's skill level, created a working plan and step by step worked on the weaknesses that my son had, in the subject matter, and gave him pointers on test taking. The tutor was always punctual. Open to questions. Gave good feedback. I recommend the Mathnasium for future students.
Great management and staff!
I enrolled my son in the program to help with foundational math concerns. He almost did not pass the VA SOL last year. He scored in the advanced range on the VA SOL this year. He also maintained an A average in math class all year at school.
Took both my kids to Mathnasium for help. They have only reluctantly gone for a month, but I have seen great improvements in their math grades. Especially on the SOL where they both passed and one passed Advanced. I hope to keep them there during the summer to keep their math practices up!
Mathnsium has my child loving math. He is excelling at school at two grades above his peers. He is not only at algebra at 7th grade he is one of the top student there. Thanks Mathnsium staff for pulling the best out my child and making him reach his potential.
