My kids feel more confident about their math skills since starting at Mathnasium Burke.
When my child started at Mathnasium, he had just completed 3rd grade. When he was tested, his score reflected that he was lower than that. He had struggled for a couple of years when we came and while it was disappointing, it was not a surprise. That was four years ago. He has worked really hard to catch up to where he should be. In 6th grade, he signed up for the optional Math 7 class, which introduced 7th grade concepts. He did well and that allowed him to enroll in honors math this current school year. He has maintained a A average and will continue to honors Algebra next year. Mathnasium has given him the foundation that he was missing that allowed him to grow and become an advanced math student today. Rachel and her staff are amazing and supportive and we could not be happier that we chose to attend all those years ago.
Our daughter loves going to Mathnasium and works hard to learn. She wants to get ahead of her peers and this is the best way we know how as she doesn't want to learn from her Parents.
Overall program and material are great. However some instructors need to be in more teaching mindset. If the student got stuck for more than 5 minutes for a problem, definitely the student needs more explanation.
My kids are happy learning more mathematics in Mathnasium. It is good place to enjoy learning.

My daughter enjoyed working on math at Mathnasium. The staff was kind and made her feel very comfortable. I can see her confidence increased as they started on some review to make sure she had her basics covered and went at her pace. She moved quickly through review and also felt she could ask for help if needed.
