Taking my (14 year old) son to Mathnasium over the summer was such a pleasant experience. He actually looked forward to going! The tutors were patient, engaged, and able to connect with each student on their level. The owner(s) were always upbeat, welcomed each child, and encouraged growth at an individual pace. After an online year of learning my son was behind where he needed to be for 8th grade math. We started Mathnasium July of 2021 and school started late August, by the time school started he was still behind where he should be but was significantly ahead of the rest of the class. By late September he was where he needed to be. Mathnasium was the key factor helping him develop and improve his math skills.
The owner was very helpful and attentive to what my son was doing and needed to improve on.
They have been very easy to work with and my son appreciates the tutoring for an extremely challenging AP class!
Being flexible or understanding we have to cancel sessions sort of last minute based on school or activity schedules thrown at us during a pandemic has been so appreciated by us.

Mathnesium is a great program. The staff is very helpful and quick to respond. The instructors are thorough and encouraging. My daughter definitely is more confident in her work.
Our kids loved Mathnasium and helped get them back on our homeschool track. The reward system was a positive motivator and they finally understood concepts I had been lacking in. On a trivial note, the hours were not a great fit for their youngest sibling.
Mathnasium is AWESOME! My daughter struggled with math, because of this she hated math. After about 6 months of going to mathnasium my daughter said the three magic words we have all been waiting to hear " I love math". It was music to my ears. She look forward to going to her math session each day after school and weekends. Thanks a Bunch Guys. Keep up the AWESOME job.

the group is very professional and patient with my son.
Your staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The issue was with my kid's motivation to go get the help needed on a regular basis. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
I would comment that the weekday hours are tricky when a kid also has other after-school commitments ... e.g. sports, clubs, work. More Saturday hours might be helpful in that regard.
Before my son came to Mathnasium his Match SAT score was not where we needed it to be. With a sports scholarship on the line we needed his score to come up big. Indeed that is exactly what Mathnasium Did! His score improved tremendously and we're so grateful to Mathnasium. I would recommend their services to any parent whose child struggles with Math or just needs a little push. They can cover all ranges of need and the best part is they're either math instructors or students studying math in college. This made me feel more comfortable that he was in the hands of experts.

My son struggled with math in third grade and was consistently overwhelmed by the new concepts. He did not do as well as we'd hoped on his math End-of-Grade test, so we looked in to Mathnasium. He attended the summer camp and had a lot of fun, so we enrolled him twice a week for the school year. He showed great improvement throughout the year, went from C's to A's on his report card, and significantly improved his EOG score by the end of 4th grade. His math teacher even awarded him a certificate reading "Factor Fanatic" based on his strong mastery of math facts. We are ever appreciative of the difference that Mathnasium made in his math abilities.

Mathnasium helps my son with confidence in math. I also like the flexibility and variety of tutors it offers. My son has been attending every summer since 3rd grade to stay current with math.
My granddaughter has been to Mathnasium twice and it has helped her with math skills and as important, her self confidence. I feel her time at Mathnasium changed her course in middle school and we will continue to attend summer sessions and know they are available during the school year, if the need arises.
The kids love coming & working on their math. We started coming because my 10yr old said she hated math & I couldn't change her mind. After the trial session she couldn't stop smiling & she's never said that she hated math again!
I like that there is interaction and communication between Mathnasium and my son's math teacher at school. He is not struggling in math but we use Mathnasium in the Summer to try and bridge the gap and prevent any knowledge loss over the summer.
