We're so happy we're with Mathnasium! My daughter has always struggled w math/algebra (I swear it's hereditary! I'm the same!). A couple friends told me about Mathnasium, and what a huge difference it made for their kids. So when I approached my daughter, she was willing to give it a try. 4 sessions later, she pulled her D to a C!! With 4 evenings! She now tackles class with confidence! And we are dedicated to 3 sessions a week...She enjoys going, and comes out smiling and feeling good. I can't ask for more! So, very well worth the cost. She's looking forward to her future with excitement, now that she's finally understanding! I'm so thankful for the service...For the passion of the director, and the easy-going nature of the tutors. It's such a relief that we're finally finding help that she understands!
In short time of period my son gets back on track,he learn how to solve the problem in easy way and use different ways of thinking.
Shortly after Jayce and Jayden began I played a game with them and noticed a big difference in their ability to keep score. Their confidence was boosted and they were looking forward to their next session.

The instructors are very friendly, personable, and attentive. There always seems to be plenty of staff on hand so that each child gets the specialized attention they need.

We loved Mathnasium! It was the first time that our son felt successful with math, and the staff we super supportive and friendly with him. On his last day, we both left with a lump in our throats. I wish our financial abilities would allow us to keep him in Mathnasium year round - I can't imagine the benefits we would see. The fact that we had only a month's worth was bittersweet. It's wonderful to know what he can accomplish, and heart breaking that this is where it ends. Even if it were $100 a month I know we would find a way to make it happen, but $500 is just a place we can't go.
My granddaughter's math grade went from a D to a high C in the last month. She knows now that she can do it...where as before Mathnasium she was completely lost and frustrated. We will be continuing with the program in the fall when she starts her junior year.
We like the relaxed atmosphere. The instructors are attentive, engaged, and encourage breaks when needed. Kalob enjoys coming but he is such a clock watcher. Maybe I will have to cover the clock!
A binder and plan for my daughter was quickly created, and tailored to help her in the areas where she needs help. The process was explained clearly to me. I like that my daughter can go in to get help any time (during open hours), and that is important because her schedule changes often. I like that she can get help with her current homework, and with topics she has covered in the past. I think it is important for the instructors to be extra sensitive when a new student starts participating, especially for the first few weeks, to not make the student feel less than or stupid or pressure to perform. I also understand that the teenager students can be a little emotional or over sensitive sometimes. I appreciate the timely communication with the staff and enjoy working with them. My limited interaction with a few instructors has been pleasant. Thank you.
This experience has given my son back his confidence and joy of math.

My daughter asks nearly every day if she "gets" to go to "math" today... this from a kid that has always dreaded and very much disliked even the word MATH (because she doesn't understand it, thus isn't confident it, thus doesn't like it). She's already growing- even at just one month in. Worth every penny. :)
In a few weeks it is clear that our daughter has a more positive attitude about tackling math. The environment there is fun for her and she is gaining confidence in her abilities.
I have actually already recommended you to a friend. Really impressed with the tutors, and my son actually looks forward to coming in. I hope to observe an improvement in his skills soon, but as far as enjoyment, it's working.
I love the way the program evaluates all the missing pieces going all the way back to K-2. I was amazed at what my son didn't know and surprised at some he did know. He enjoys going and says he knows he is learning. Having to set goals and the feeling the satisfaction of attaining those goals is something he's never done. He is proud each time a goal is accomplished.
My daughter has been very excited participating in Mathnasium. She doesn't see this as "school", so it is very easy to get her to go and be ready to participate.
We have only been sending our 11 year old son there for about 6 weeks, but he already has a better attitude about Math. He actually said he likes algebra!
My daughter loved coming. She had been there as a free trial scholarship, so she is not struggling in math, but actually likes math a lot and thought it was a lot of fun to come. You hav a great atmosphere, great staff, and she loved working towards the rewards. Definitely will come back when needed.
The staff has made a big difference. They are so approachable and answer his questions. He says they do not make him feel stupid when he needs help. He wants to go every day. He just received and award at school for Most Improved. I am sure the help he is getting at the center has a lot to do with it.
It's early days yet, but things seem to be going well.
Mathnasium has turned my daughter's C's, D's, and F's into A's and B's and her tears into smiles. She loves the folks working with her and has gained confidence in and out of the classroom. We could not be happier with our experience so far.

We have really enjoyed the progress our daughter is making. We would like to see more teacher interaction on a daily basis. Sometimes it seems that she just does worksheets without any instruction when she is there.
We are fairly new to the Mathnasium program, but I have already started to see improvements in my child's homework as well as an increased confidence level. He is excited to go after school every day, which is something new for him. Usually it is a battle to get him to start homework and math is especially challenging. Since starting Mathnasium, I don't have that battle anymore and he is feeling the success from his efforts!
