Our oldest son (now a 7th grader) has struggled with math really since kindergarten. It has given him a lot of grief and has required him to take years of supplemental math classes which really didn't seem to be providing any noticeable difference in his abilities. I was hesitant to suggest Mathnasium to him, as I thought he'd be upset that I was suggesting he take yet another class, but surprisingly he told me he would give it a try. And even more to my surprise he told me that he doesn't mind going at all. We have been attending Mathnasium consistently 2 days a week for the past year and I have seen remarkable improvements in his ability to work through math problems. His math skills have improved to such a level that he just recently was granted permission to graduate out of his Math support lab and take an elective of his choosing instead; he was so thrilled. His regular Math teacher (whom was also his teacher for 6th grade) has also commented on seeing an improvement in his ability to work through problems, ask questions, and stay caught up on his assignments. It would be foolish for me to think that Mathnasium hasn't been one of the biggest contributing factors to all of these amazing successes. I'm a big fan of Mathnasium and never miss an opportunity to share our experience with others with children with similar struggles.
My Daughter started after winning a drawing during a promotional event. She loves it, she said she wished she could go every day. The instructors are great! She is learning a lot and is enjoying the process (and the prizes). We are happy to continue after the free month. I would suggest it to anyone who is on the fence. at least to go in for the assessment, that really opened our eyes to where she was at and I am grateful to have her catching up. I would hate for her to struggle her whole life and without that assessment I wouldn't have known where she was with her math skills.
Easy to work with online, Definitely help our granddaughter.
The interview process and enrolling was a pleasant experience for all of us. Then finding the right place, either online or in person that fit our situation was equally a smooth transition. The online course worked best for us, and our granddaughter felt it was good participation and the online access was easy to use and work with. It was especially easy when she went home to a different state and is still able to keep up and continue her learning experience. The confidence instilled in this process is invaluable. Thank you for a great experience and training.

My daughter is having fun with math now and as it gets challenging she enjoys the help of the tutors. I wish I knew what she was working in each week specifically so I could see what areas we could work on at home. I wish she had opportunity to practice some of the sheets at home so we he could progress her to her appropriate grade level even faster.
The consultation appt was the most informative appt I've ever been to. It was long but we learned so much and they are very helpful and caring. They really want our kids to succeed. My daughter has been going here for almost a month now and math homework and/or class work doesn't seem as challenging for her as before. This year will be super important for her as she's preparing for high school and already talking about college. Money well spent!!!

I had my son get homework help for a month and they help my son raise his grade from No Credit to a C. I wish I had them help my son sooner. If you think your child needs tutoring he probably does. The only regret I have is I did not go to Mathnasium sooner
My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for one month and I have already seen a huge difference in her confidence level. We love the mix of independent work with help from the staff when she needs it and I can see that strategies are now “clicking” where they weren’t before. Signing her up has definitely been one of the best decisions we have made for her and I can say although it’s been just a month, there are no more tears about math! And that is a relief as parent!
