My 8 year old daughter and I had the most wonderful experience at Mathnasium. Staff was incredibly kind and attentive. They were engaging and encouraging with the kids. I was surprised how eager my child was to attend math class multiple times a week! We finished up our summer session, but definitely plan on returning - and have told all of our friends. We love the N Wilmington location! We could never get our girls to do extra math practice at home. It’s shocking to see our girls willingly go back to Mathnasium week after week. They love the staff and have fun! Most importantly they are getting practice and support and their math skills and confidence have improved.

Excellent and engaging staff! I’m shocked at how much both of my kids love going to Mathnasium. My 10 year old previously “hated” math. She recently asked if she could skip practice so she could go to Mathnasium 4x week.
My granddaughter attended Mathnasium. She never complained about going, and always said she had fun at the tutoring session.

Mathnasium has been really great for my son. He is engaged with the tutoring and seems genuinely interested in learning the material. I believe this is a testament to the extremely competent tutors that he has working with him. I am seeing progress and there is never any pushback when he has an appointment scheduled.
I have two children taking lessons at Mathnasium, one of which has been going for over a year. I cannot express how much it has helped them. Their already strong math skills are much stronger now. One is going into advanced pre-algebra in middle school.

My granddaughter has been attending tutoring since April 2024. She enjoys going and has had a lot of success in filling in the holes of misunderstood concepts. She never argues about going and always says she had a good time at her tutoring sessions.

My daughter was struggling with math and it had become a source of anxiety for her. Within a few months, she made tremendous progress and math started to feel less scary. After 8 months, she retook her initial assessment and improved her score by 37 points!

Great Staff! Mathnasium really helped my daughter with her math skills. Her grades improved and she had fun!
My kiddos have been going to Mathnasium since November 2020 and May 2021. Sometimes they go for the fun of it, and sometimes it is for the necessity of support. Each child has a different interest level, and Mathnasium always makes adjustments to keep both of my kiddos engaged. When we went into the pandemic, it was obvious to see what the kids were going to miss out on, but now that we are emerging, it’s even more obvious to see what they strengthened because they could attend during the pandemic in a sanitized environment with one on one support.
This summer, my son got help with his math packet due on the first day of school and a program at Mathnasium to help him strengthen gaps identified from the school work. My daughter learned to play chess and many other stem games. Math is fun for her and comes very easily so Mathnasium finds great challenges to grow her mind. I’m very proud of both my kids. I’m proud to say we will be at Mathnasium for as long as we can. All of the tutors in North Wilmington are excellent! We cannot say enough good things about all of them!

They learn the strategies in fun ways like playing chess. This is where we have gained the most value. My kids would say the upside is the reward system for their accomplishments.
