The staff is very engaged with each child. They are patient and they are encouraging. The curriculum thus far is very compatible with the school's curriculum and will prepare them for the upcoming school year. My son has a tough time with word problems, and his tutors at Mathnasium have really been working with him on those skills. Mathnasium has been exactly what we needed to reinforce concepts that weren’t hardwired in his earlier school years.
My son has really enjoyed the sessions and I can tell they are giving him more confidence and his ability to do math.

Our rising fifth grade son is one who enjoys the 'social' aspect of school. In the past, math has not been one of his strong points so we thought we'd try out Mathnasium to help him get caught up and to keep his math skills fresh over the summer months as well. Our son walked into his first session with dread and he walked out saying, "It was not that bad. Actually, it was much better than I thought it'd be. Well....I really had fun!"
My kids are really enjoying the At Home lessons. I believe they are learning more & building their confidence at the same time. I’m especially grateful for the super nice tutors. The Mathnasium team is adept at providing continued learning during this time of rapid change and uncertainty. My daughter is getting more weekly math practice and instruction with Mathnasium than she does with her own school's distance learning. Also, removing myself from the role of math teacher benefits everyone!
