Very welcoming, upbeat, and at the same time, studious, environment. My 12-year old son enjoys the time he spends at Mathnasium Silver Spring and feels he has a stronger grasp of math concepts because of it.

When your child's teacher chase you down to tell you how excited your child was to participate in math, enthusiastically raising their hand to answer questions. It just makes me wonder why we didn't sign him up sooner.

Mathnasium has great tutors who really care about the child's improvement. Tutors keep parents up to date with the child's performance and are honest about strengths and weaknesses. I appreciate the fact that they were honest enough to let me know that my son did not need the extra classes but my daughter did, which shows that they are doing something they believe would help children rather than make money. My daughter has a new love for math and instead of saying she doesn't understand her homework and needs my help is confident enough to do it herself now.
