My children, who are 11 and 14 years old, have increased in confidence and skills over the past 4 months at Mathnasium of Downtown Silver Spring. James and Brennan take good care of my kids, listening to their specific concerns and are able to provide the teaching styles that both of my childen need. The staff are gracious, friendly, and are able to work with my family's scheduling needs. Instructors seem very nice and are good at judging where my daughter should be in her math progress.
This school is helping my kids learn stuff above their grade and get better grades, so this place is amazing! Also the teachers are really nice.
The center is great! Abby loves the staff there and the friendly approach to teaching. Her standardized test score for math made a big jump at the end of May owing to her time at Mathnasium I'm sure!
My son is first grade and since he start this mathematics tutoring program his math skill improved a lot. The instructors are very professional , friendly and very supportive. I strongly suggested this program for anyone’s who want to build a strong math foundation in their kids.

I’ve seen a major improvement in my daughter’s math skills over the past year! She is in seventh grade and now it’s the norm for her to get As and Bs on her math assignments. I can’t remember the last time she has asked me for help with her math homework. In addition to her immense progress, the Mathnasium staff are very friendly and supportive. They make the experience fun for the kids with planned events and activities. Also, online scheduling for sessions is so easy and convenient!

My 2 children, they seem to be progressing, they think that the work they are doing is too easy, I take this as a good sign that they are mastering one level but just need to move on to the next .
I like the fact that work they receive is given base on the result from their diagnostic assessment, so I know they are learning something they need to master.

Because they said if One of their cardi is filled they can trade it in for treats . Between both of them. The already trade their cards on for 4 candy They sometimes seem not to want to go but once they get there , they seem to always enjoy the sessions.
It has been great for our children. Reinforcing skills learning in school. Teachers are good at working with kids at their pace. Some week days wish we had a little more time in evening.

Mathnasium Silver Spring tutors have worked with our son ovee the last 2 years and it has bought good outcomes in how he works in the class and his test scores. In addition, Robert [Center Director] has meet with us and created plans that align with school to accomplish goals that really help our son understand the concepts versus just repetition.
