We are from Carson City and we have to drive half an hour each way 2-3 times a week to bring our son to Mathnasium. At this time, we feel that the benefits are definitely worth the drive time. Our son has improved his Math skills and retention. We have seen this through his grades and MAP testing results. Previously, my son was enrolled in another Math program also in Reno. We noticed during that time, he was struggling with retention and confused with the teaching methods. This teaching style and curriculum are so much more effective than the outdated less effective methods taught in public school which leaves may students behind with large class sizes and much reduced actual classroom days.

Thank you for making math fun for my son. It can me hard to get him there but he always seems happy when he leaves, talking about problems and if he did them correct. Seems like there is a lot of 7th grade homework and that's all there is time to complete. Maybe another hour is needed to do some Mathnasium work.

My son always struggled with his confidence in math. He was failing tests consistently and not getting better than a D in middleschool and highschool. After 3 months in mathnasium he is passing tests with a B or higher and getting As on all his assignments. Hes confident and proud of his skills. We are to the end if his freshman year and I believe mathnasium is to thank for his math grade.
