I started my 1st grader at Mathnasium, because I wanted to make sure they got a solid, positive, and fun foundation in math. They are bright and do not struggle with math, but it happens to be my least favorite subject. I just don't have as many math activities in my 'bag of tricks' as I do for other subjects. After several recommendations, I signed them up for a session and they genuinely love it. They look forward to mathnasium and love sharing their tips and games at home - they regularly state how much fun math is now. Regardless of your need, I highly recommend Stillwater (Oak Park Heights) Mathnasium, especially in the early years, and so does my kiddo!
My only complaint is pricing.
I feel there should be more package options with different pricing. It’s difficult for some families to pay so much at once. Maybe there could be a way to pay one session at a time?
