It is refreshing to not see my son frustrated with math anymore. He always comes home with a smile.
My son was struggling with foundational concepts that were preventing him from progressing in math and leading to increased frustration in the classroom. His confidence was decreasing almost daily and he had labeled himself "bad at math". After just a few weeks at Mathnasium he is growing in confidence and says he "feels smarter". We were very fortunate to find Mathnasium. Our child was stressed and so where we as parents trying to find the right program to suite her learning. She’s already showing higher confidence and is turning her math grade around. This program is so wonderful. The staff really cares about the students on all levels.

My one request would be that a bit more of the time is spent on homework review for Sam's current Algebra class. This would help confirm his learning and give him confidence in quizzes and test in school.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Sam had not been bringing his homework, so no time had been dedicated to homework review with him. He now periodically brings in homework and time is dedicated to this.
The atmosphere is very inviting. My daughter is very shy around new people and she warmed up very quickly. I like the way they test first to see where my child was at and created a plan accordingly. They didn't just teach her what she should know in her grade but focused on what her weaknesses are to develop her.
My son enjoys going there! The staff are great at explaining math to him.

My only wish is that it wasn't so expensive. We currently plan to have our kids attend Mathnasium during the summer months. I wish I could afford to send all my kids. My daughter is very excited about math. The people working and running the facility are great with my kids and they make it fun and easy to learn. The incentive points are a great tool to use as well. The kids respond well to the rewards of their work. Thank you to all the staff at the Cedar Rapids Mathnasium!
The girls really have moved the needle this summer and learned a ton of new strategies and have improved the math IQ.
My son loves it
Our son has only been attending for less than a month as I write this. Before we signed up, I spoke with one of the assistant center directors and she thouroughly explained how the program works. Needles to say, I was very enthusiastic to start our son! It's too soon to see any results yet, but I hope to start seeing some changes trickle in. The staff at this location is very friendly and caring!

My daughter was hesitate to try the program because she didn't want to "do math" in the summer. However, after going the first day, she realized that you make it fun and she enjoys coming.
Our daughter said, "math is not so scary.". And she finds it fun now.
