The Mathnasium in Dunkirk, Maryland has served my older son well in the past year. He is starting college this month and that is in no small part to the contribution of Mathnasium director Jimmy and the rest of his team. They are patient and skilled in imparting math to a student who struggled. With their help my son was able to complete his math requirements for college entrance. Thank you, Mathnasium! Cooper is now going into his third year with mathnasium and it is simply the best thing we could have ever done for him. He LOVES math and loves to be challenged non stop. He calls the Dunkirk location, “my second home” and is so excited to attend his sessions, and works towards his own personal goals each time. Aside from going for his sessions, he attends the monthly game nights on Fridays, and loves the camps they offer through the summer and winter! He has formed such great relationships with everyone, kids and instructors.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place for him to be challenged!
I have both children in Mathnasium & they both love the experience. Not only that they're learning, but also making connections & friendships. The instructors are well-versed in their knowledge. They are very accommodating, caring, and most of all, fun. My children are always looking forward to come here!
We love everything about Mathnasium - great instructors, lovely space, positive environment. Only downside is the price is very high. I don't think it's reasonable for the majority of people so it's difficult to recommend to friends.

Both my kids have benefited greatly from working with Mathnasium in Dunkirk. They find the staff friendly and approachable, and their math grades have gone up. It's an investment but one that we find worthwhile.
My son is loving his tutoring sessions so far. Not only is he feeling more confident with his pre calculus school work, he also has gotten help with his physics and engineering homework too. He used to love math, but since going virtual during Covid he seemed to struggle the next couple years with his high school math classes. Seeing how he is doing now, with only a couple months of help, I wish we had started the lessons sooner.
Jimmy, the manager, is great. He is always ready to listen to suggestions and accommodate needs or requests. He goes the extra mile to do research and provide information.

Mathnasium of Dunkirk has helped my daughter tremendously build her math skills and confidence about math. She was really struggling with math last school year when we started with Mathnasium. She has gained so much since then that I will keep her with them for the rest of her elementary school career. I also love that she can go over the summer to strengthen her previously taught skills and also getting an early start to the upcoming skills she will need for the following school year! They have been great with ensuring that my girls are on top of their math concepts. We have brought in scores from tests and they have adjusted their sessions to ensure they meet and exceed the statndards for their grade level/ age.

Mathnasium has been a great thing for my daughter. She was struggling in math and we started her last fall. Now that she has been going over a year her grades have greatly improved and she has been exposed to math that she hasn't been taught yet in 4th grade so when they start that topic in school she already has knowledge of the topic.
In one short month of attendance, not only has Johanna's understanding and grades improved, more importantly, her confidence has soared. We are so thankful for Jimmy and the Dunkirk team!
Our experience here has been wonderful. They have contacted our son's teacher to work with him on things upcoming in class and have been so good with him. He struggles with attention and focus and they are patient and make math engaging. Scheduling has been a breeze. Jimmy is the best!

Scheduling the first assessment was a breeze and the staff was very helpful to figure out the best plan for our family. The staff is warm and welcoming and all are very helpful with my son.
