What a difference! My 9yo daughter went from hating the idea of math help to looking forward to going 2x a week! In less than 2 months her confidence and abilities have grown substantially. Alan and his staff are very friendly and supportive. They are not over-bearing and take their time allowing the children to accept the help rather than demanding they participate. I don't know how they do it, but they even make it fun! I would strongly recommend Mathnasium to others.

My daughter was struggling in Math at the end of the year and really needed to both review and catch up in order to prepare for the Geometry Regents. She attended 2x per week over the course of 1 month and the staff at Mathnasium Roslyn played a very big part in helping her reach that goal -- they were attentive, encouraging and she even asked at the end to be signed up for next year. We can't thank them enough!

We have found everyone to be very welcoming, organized and helpful. We love that Mathnasium does not have a "one size fits all" approach. They recognize and cater to the individual needs of their students.

Liam enjoys going and I like the ratio of students to instructors. I like that each child has his or or her own book and works on his or her level. I like that it is personalized to each child. I like that Liam is voluntarily practicing math 2x per week. The instructors all seem to have wonderful skills and interact really well with the children. I already recommended Mathnasium to Theresa Driscoll in my office.
While I ask the instructors how he is doing, I would like specific feedback or an update as to the areas that he still finds challenging as well as the areas that he is now comfortable and has grasped the concept. Do you provide any type of written updates to parents? If not, how do you update parents as to progress and areas that he has since successfully grasped? Also, if he has not grasped any areas yet, then I would want to know that too.
