Mathnasium has been of great help to our daughter. Her grades have improved, and math is no longer a source of anxiety.
We sent our rising 3rd grader to Mathnasium in downtown Bethesda over the summer, as he had a tough school year and was a bit behind in math. Initially he was nervous to go. After the very first lesson he came home excited and loving math again! By the end of summer, he had made up so much ground he was almost completely caught up again. Within the first week of the new school year, his teacher was ready to give him enriched instruction in class. We honestly couldn’t have had a better experience - Kathryn & Barry are so attentive, it is apparent they genuinely care about helping their students.
Our son was struggling with multiplication tables and the team at Mathnasium quickly identified a plan and program that enabled us to get our son to be able to understand and use the information at ease
Mathnasium in Bethesda was great for our daughter. Catherine, Barry and their staff are wonderful and patient. My daughter discovered she loved math. She looked forward to going to Mathnasium. They got her up to speed on what she was lacking in public school. Now she's ahead thanks to them!

Our daughter gained confidence with math facts at Mathnasium. Even though she needed to spend time practicing, it was a chore for her. Going to Mathnasium was fun and she looked forward to it - and we looked forward to not fighting through math facts togetther!
Although we are not with Mathnasium any more, we loved the one on one attention of the teachers with the kids. Mathnasium makes learning Math fun. The teachers are very good and patient with the kids. They nurture each kid based on the kids abilities. We loved our center directors who are very cordial, patient and were very responsive.
Great place to teach our kids Math. in any level they are, they just love Mathnasium.
My children resented the idea of going to get assistance in math; however, they enjoyed the Mathnasium experience and looked forward to going. It's was a win win for our family. They enjoyed learning mathn
The environment at Mathnasium Bethesda was very conducive to learning for my 11 year old son, with the combination of one-on-one guidance and independent work. My son was able to fill in some gaps in his math skills over the summer and started the school year on firm footing.
All of the kids are doing better this year! I loved that the kids had a goal and could win a prize...mine wear their headphones every day!!! We will be back next Summer! :)
