We considered and tried many options for extra help for our first grader before giving Mathnasium a try. We could not be happier. Our first-grader has progressed leaps and bounds most particularly with math. However, she's also improved in other learning areas as a result of the confidence she is building off her successes in math; overall, her learning curve has and is accelerating. The teachers are excellent instructors, and our daughters loves working with them. We HIGHLY recommend Mathnasium - North Bethesda.

Our first grader started Mathnasium just a few months ago, but we are already seeing tremendous improvement. She worked very hard to approach grade level expectations last year but this year is at grade level. She's much more confident and actually enjoys math this year. The instructors are excellent, patient and knowledgeable. My daughter tells me constantly that they are great teachers (much better than her parents). We couldn't be happier in making the extra investment into our daughter's education.

Matt at N. Bethesda is wonderful! He’s always happy to see my daughter and makes it easier for her to be there. He’s helpful and approachable! Her confidence in math greatly improved which reflected in her grades. We’re so grateful for Mathnasium. She attended 1x per week and worth every penny!
My sons cannot wait to go! They are always asking me to take them! The staff are incredible, Matt the manager is exceptional. He is very thorough and the kids relate to him.

Our son benefited much from Mathnasium since 3rd. grade. He is now a rising 9th. grader and have been very confident in math (being above class level) by the help and assistance of Mathnasium. He is consistently in top percentiles at county tests, and we are very happy with the professionalism and care of Mathnasium team, especially regarding general homework and targeted test prep work.

Mathnasium literally makes math fun! great instructors and very productive environment - where kids seem super focused but still enjoy it.
We like virtual option but sometimes want to do in-person. However, we tried it and it seems like it’s also hard to concentrate when other students are too loud.
My child has become more confident in math and looks forward to her weekly visits to Mathnasium.
They do a great job. Would really like more available hours. For example, a few hours open on Sunday and during other school closure days. These times are often easier for parents to drop off
Great instructors very organized and my 8 year old loves it!
