My daugther hated math primarily because her teachers did not use a "make sense" approach, meaning, teaching her the way she learns. After i enrolled her in mathnasium, she feels more at ease and is more receptive when new skills are introduced. She comes home sharing her experience and how much fun it is. It is not pulling theeth anymore, thanks mathnasium
The teachers here are thorough and treat each child as an individual. They are not interested in rushing through to reach a goal so if you are looking for that this is not the place for you. They take the time to make sure the child truly understands what they are learning. Matt takes the time to review the assessments and explains why the learning plans contain the lessons they do. and it makes sense! This is very important with math because each step builds on the next. I am impressed that my less than enthusiastic math student is excited to come home and show me what he's learned.
I like how each counselor spends just the right amount of time with my son and then give him enough time to work independently. I also greatly appreciate how Matt has done his own research to accommodate my son's his learning disorder.

After attending Mathnasium my daughter started being more comfortable with math and numbers. She now likes maths.

I like that Mathnasium has a plan/curriculum for each child to master. It is a relaxed environment where each child is respected for who they are and where they are in their understanding of math concepts. I like the continuity of working on a task over and over again until they prove they know it. Once they demonstrate they know the material, they move on up.
I also like that Daniel explains to me what they worked on with my kids and gives me tips on what and how I can work with them after the Mathnasium meetings so I can reinforce the lessons with my kids.

Very easy to work with and coordinate times for tutoring. The office is very responsive to inquiries and scheduling adjustments. Our son is developing a wonderful working relationship with his tutor at Mathnasium.
My son Kiyou has been going there for about 3 months now. His confidence in math has increased incredibility. He really enjoys going there. The instructors are amazing. I definitely give them
an A+ . I love the fact that they don't rush the kids out. Other places my child has attend all they are concern with is the time. Time is up, we will continue on the problem next week. Now go away. Here at the mathnasium, they take there time, making sure the child understands the process. I can't wait to see my child's results in the next 3 month.

I signed my son up to help him get ready for the enterance exam for bca in hackensack as well as the campus in teterborough. The staff are amazing. They are very receptive to his questions and very patient and knowledgable. Christina goes above and beyond in helping prepare my son for the enterance exams. He started in October and his self confidence in math has increased drastically. I plan on continuing the lessons through high school as well.
