My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for about nine months.
She started Mathnasium because her math skills were lagging behind the school benchmarks and her peers.
During the summer, her skills began to catch up to her peers as she attended Mathnasium classes over the summer break.
She's continuing at Mathnasium and continues to advance her math skills.
In the last nine months, her skills have grown and her understanding of math has expanded in incredible ways.
The way math is presented to the student allows my daughter to grasp the concepts in math.
This is great system, because an understanding of the concepts allows her to then apply the skills to other math problems.

I'm not sure that our results are typical, but I can tell you our experience. My daughter had always struggled with math. Each year the STAAR test was an imposing time for her and every year she just managed to squeak by, barely passing. Recognizing her weakness she asked my about the possibility of finding a math tutor. I did a little online research and discovered Mathnasium and was delighted to find there was a location close by. We scheduled an appointment to consult with the manager about their program. She was wonderful and seemed to really care about helping her students improve their math skills. They offered very flexible options for the tutoring and were very affordable so we enrolled last October, approximately two months into the school year. I remember my daughter commenting that after the first week she had learned more than she had learned the last two months at school. We continued going until the end of the school year, averaging about two visits a week. I'm proud to say that when we got the results of the STAAR test this year, my daughter NAILED it ! She tested in the top 5% in the state ! We will continue going to Mathnasium to insure against back sliding. I would highly recommend Mathnasium to anyone that have children struggling with math.

She has gone from a reluctance to even try math problems, to the point to where I quiz her at home and she gives me the answers right back.

My son started Mathnasium in November of his 7th grade year. He was struggling in his Adv. Math class. He stuck with the tutoring throughout the school year. He LOVED going... even on days he didn't leave school until 6pm due to other activities. He never complained about going there before going home.

He made a 100 on his STAAR test! Every minute and dollar was well worth that achievement!

Mathnasium was a very helpful and resourceful program for my daughter. My daughter has gotten commended on her math staar test for the past three years she’s been at mathnasium. Now all of her brothers and sisters are joining. I highly recommend mathnasium!Ms.Denise is the best she’s very kind and helpful! Mathnasium is the best tutoring source out there!

Our daughter went it lacking confidence, by her 6 mth at mathnasium was confident, became A honor roll student, was recommended to take her ACT test and even has math as a honors class. Mathanasium tutors along with their director are knowledgeable and provide a program that is equipped to improve your child’s math foundation to get them to the top. Worth the investment, would do it over again
