It's a great program that ensures that your child understands the foundations of math. I love the feedback that you receive about your child's progress, as well as the flexible schedule. Most importantly, my son feels confident in his understanding of math concepts.
Mathnasium has been just what our daughter has needed to take her stress way down about her school math classes. At school it isn't always easy for the teachers to individually cater to each child's learning curve and they only have so much time to teach a topic, so often kids get left behind. We have found that Mathnasium fills in the gaps as they continue on a topic until your child understands the concepts. They also try many different ways to teach each concept until they find the one that works for each child. I highly recommend Mathnasium to any family that has a child struggling with math or a child that just wants to improve their math skills even more. In particular, Barindra and her team have been wonderful with our daughter. They have shown great care and patience with her learning needs, and she is now happy to be doing her math lessons with much more confidence and understanding.

Flexible times to get in. Helpful staff, makes learning fun with incentives. I especially like the feedback/reporting back of how my child performs in her test and the comparison to what the last mark was which shows the growth and improvement.

Our daughter always found math very, very difficult as she found that her teachers unfortunately had to move through subjects quickly and would mostly only teach each subject one way for the benefit of the whole class. Because of the quick pace and very little variation in teaching, our daughter could not keep up. Since starting with Mathnasium, it is a very different story. The team at Mathnasium zeros in on the most effective way to teach kids that makes sense to them, and they take the time to make sure that the concepts have sunk in. Plain and simply, I would recommend Barindra and her team absolutely to anyone with children who are struggling in math.
