Very committed staff and my grandson enjoys the experience.
From hating math and not turning work in to excelling in ALL classes...it has made an unbelievable difference in our daughter's view of her future and math in general. Carlo was able to boost her self esteem by helping her "get" the concepts that she was struggling with in a private school. Now she wants to be a Dermatologist AND teach math. The boost in self esteem brought all of her grades to an A, not just math. I cannot thank you all enough Carlo!!!!! Your energy and belief in the kids that walk through the door is obvious every time I'm there.

Mathnasium has helped our grandson gain skills and knowledge to pass his high school math class. This was a stressful school year and Mathnasium made it better. Thank you.

My daughter was very excited about coming to work on her math homework, which was not the case at home. They also started her on other math work when she was done with her homework. We very much would recommend this place.

My son loves going to Mathnasium in Sparks, NV. The staff and owner are great with the kids. His math grade went up right away and has stayed an A. We plan on staying at the math center the rest of year!
My daughter likes going to Mathnasium. She did a summer camp a few years ago and asked to go back when she was having a hard time in Math. Carlos, the owner, is friendly and responsive to questions and has a real passion for helping the kids be successful in Math.
Not disappointed. I just don't have enough data to make a valid decision. My granddaughter's math skills are in question. When she was introduced to the tutor program her grades were "F" Since being tutored her grade is about a "C."
However, my hopes were she would be much higher by now. There are many factors to consider. One factor is her learning ability. How much effort she is putting into the program. Is she retaining the material. Although I do on occasion speak with the manager I usually walk away not knowing where she is in the program. I guess what i am looking for is improvement in her school grade. A simple yes or no in that is she improving. Where she stands is she at grade level or not. And if not where is she.
Again it is difficult understand her progress. It is difficult to measure in that if she had not been enrolled where would she be now vs she is enrolled and she isn't at grade level yet.
I would do the same thing and enroll her again. The program does have some value. If she is attending sessions and just working on her home work that isn't enough. I also wish for her to work on math concepts and working toward achieving grade level. I think she goes three times a week at least 2 hours a session.
My daughter loved it from day one. She likes getting her work done and having a goal to reach!
My son severely lacked confidence in math. In just a month, Carlo and his staff have set him up to succeed. I have already recommended Mathnasium to others.
You as a Parent or relative, and you want your child to master mathematics you can not
do better than Sparks Mathnasium. Carlo has assembled a team of instructors that
are not only extremely bright but they all have great personalities that make you feel
right at home!! Carlo and staff keep up the great job!!
I had two kids go to Mathnasium. They loved it. They loved the staff.
My son was kicked out because the owner could not take any type criticism on a review. My son was not being given breaks he was being told he could have. We addressed it, but it was not any different. Then I got a survey mentioning it again and my son was kicked out for no other reason than the breaks.
Awesome staff with outstanding tutoring and teaching skills.

My son was told he would get breaks after 30 minutes since they arevenvourage to only be there for 45 to 60 minutes total, but that is not happening. They don't give him a break until after an hour, right before he is leaving. He has also been forced to sit in groups when he is working independently causing him to have constant distractions.
Carlo and his staff are tremendous, if your child wants to improve their skills
in mathematics you really can not choose better than Sparks Mathnasium.
Their method of teaching mathematics is unmatched and we feel like we
are part of one big family. Carlo and staff keep up the great job your'e
doing. My grandson was failing in Geometry and Algebra until we found
Mathnasium and now he is improving in leaps and bounds and it has helped
him in all of his other classes as well. What a confidence booster Mathnasium
has turned out to be.
My children love coming here!!!!!!! They feel the love and support they need in math here! It’s a wonderful place ! Both of my children have grown stronger in their math skills because how fun they make it !!! I highly recommend this place!!!

I like the fact that I could drop my child off and let him get the support that he needed to help him understand math. I feel that he's more confident in his ability to do his math homework and understand it better.
We would love it if the Mathnasium was open on Fridays. Additionally, more assistants would be useful for peak hours.
My child loves going to the Mathnasium and has gained great confidence in their math abilities.
