They both improved two to three grade levels in math, the best of all, they love to go, they feel challenged yet proud to complete several pages a day.
We love the program so much that we drive one hour, three times a week to attend Mathnasium! Hopefully they will open a center closer to home.
Mathnasium has been an invaluable resource for our two sons. One son goes for enrichment to work ahead and has been able to advance to algebra I in 7th grade. Other son was reluctant to go and initially went just for SAT prep in spring of 10th grade, but continued to go as he found it very helpful for math (precalculus) and math-based science (physics, AP chemistry). We really appreciate the flexibility of monthly payment as needed rather than ongoing subscriptions as there are months when our children cannot go due to other activities or don’t feel they’ve needed to go. The quality of the tutors has been incredible and on the rare occasion (can only think of 2 occurrences over several years) there has been one that was just not a good fit for our child, a simple mention to Edward or Tony and they never were paired again. I have been most impressed by the personalized relationship the staff at Mathnasium builds with each of their students; they greet every child by name, frequently chat with parents to exchange updates and areas of concern to build a true partnership. Edward is very charismatic and exudes a genuine fondness for the students has been motivating for our kids (I’ve heard the same about Tony but we tend to go on days Edward is on duty). Highly recommend for any student who wants to improve or get ahead in math.
Ella has improved in her understanding of classwork and how to problem solve, which is reflected in an improvement in her grades.
The team at Mathnasium has been great in helping my high school student overcome challenges with calculus. They were awesome when she had to study for exams too.

My daughter recieved a F in math last school year. She wasn’t a big fan of math and it frustrated her..helping her with homework would only make it worse and frustration for everyone.
We enrolled her in July and now she received A’s with the last two report cards!!!
Her math teacher even called us in because our daughter would shout out answers and wouldn’t give other students a chance to answer..
she now allows other students to answer but still is very excited to participate in math class!

Math has always been my daughter wickedness, seen she have tutoring from mathnasium she seem to enjoy math more the drive 3 time a week is a little far for us but it's worthies. I wish we have one in West Ashley soon!!!!

Mathnasium has been a wonderful experience for my student. For me I appreciate the fact that the school year has been so much more manageable and there is a certain confidence level that my student has gained through the support of tutoring at Mathnasium. My student is also currently working on specific math problems geared toward helping improve SAT scores. This is invaluable when you are looking toward college admission.
I'm so impressed with the management team at our location in Mount Pleasant. There isn't a student that walks through the door that they don't recognize, usually know by name, and direct them immediately to a tutor who can work with them that day. It's very impressive and this location is always busy!
I was very pleased with the environment for learning and the tutors. Both my girls improved their understanding and their attitude towards math. I only wish the hours were a little more broad.

Mathnasium has been a great resource for our middle and high school students. The tutors are excellent. I would highly recommend it. We just wish they had longer hours, but for the most part, their hours are pretty good for the majority of students I'm sure!

Your program is great! My son earned an overall grade of 88 last year in Algebra 1 with your help, including passing the state required end of course exam. For my son, that is an A+ because it is a really difficult subject for him. The convenience and schedule are awesome, and all the teachers/tutors are upbeat and make the atmosphere happy. Initially, the price seems high, but as long as the kids actually utilize it, it is very reasonable. It is more expensive for me, because I spend the hour shopping in Belle Hall while my son is studying:-)
