My daughter LoVES Mathnasium. She started as a kindergartener and still enjoys it today as a 7th grader. Here is why:
1. The peaceful environment. The Tustin location is a quiet, relaxing place to work. She says she "likes the vibe."
2. The helpful instructors. When she has a question, she knows the staff will be able to answer her questions.
3. The awesome prizes. Marlene is the MASTER of incentives! Kids get 1 punch on their card for every page of math they do. Then, they can trade completed punch cards in for prizes. My daughter will gladly do 150 pages of algebra to earn a jumbo Squishmallow or other toy from the prize bank. Kudos to Marlene for finding just the right prizes to motivate the kiddos!
4. The math mastery. My daughter has algebra tests every Friday. She loves to go to Mathnasium on Thursday afternoon and practice for the test. It really gives her confidence and helps her feel prepared.
She is already planning to take geometry this summer and I have no doubt that Mathnasium will be a part of her weekly routine then and for years to come!
Mathnasium has been very helpful for my son. He enjoys learning in this environment which is relaxed and fun. I highly recommend Mathnasium in Tustin!

We’re simply happy with the whole experience. My daughter likes it very much and benefits a lot from it. The staff are nice, encouraging, caring, flexible and good with communication.
We are a returning customer. My son needs help and he is getting the assistance he needs at Mathnasium. They offer in person learning and help on hand for any questions he may have. There is no pressure to be correct and to know it on your own like some other places. So far It is going very well. His grades are improving and more than that his confidence is improving.
I homeschool my 12 year old and 9 year old and while they understood the concepts when I would teach them, they were really struggling with accuracy and needed more reinforcement. I didn't know how I could better support them, but then I kept getting IG ads for mathnasium and the philosophy and backstory intrigued me. Not long after, I enrolled them at Mathnasium and just in a months time, the kids have already grown so much there. They love the quick and direct feedback they get (correction immediately after completing worksheets), they love that the tutors know their subject matter very well, they love that the curriculum used is only targeting the concepts they have a weaker grasp on (less redundancy), they are sooo totally motivated by the rewards system set up/raffle entries, and I've seen their confidence in their math skills soar as they've been learning new tricks and methods for how to approach problems using some mathnasium methods that maybe we're not taught that way in their textbooks. Overall, I've been very pleased with the progress!

My daughter has been struggling with Math, and not feeling confident, which was leading her to feel stressed. We began at Mathnasium and she has become more independent too. She loves to go in by herself, check-in, and get her binder all on her own, which is not how this shy dependent girl normally is. I am so thankful for a place we can go that helps with her homework, her confidence, and has her excited about math.

It has been a great environment of learning and encouraging kids to make progress with math. The instructors are professional and use a great approach engaging younger kids practice math.
The minor concern is at times the kids have to wait for someone to be available to help with their questions.
Every member of the staff has be wonderful with both of my boys. They both look forward to going every session and are very happy with their work and progress!
