I feel as if Mathnasium has a wonderful balance of "how are you doing" and "get to business". The result of this is children don't mind going when they develop math relationships.
We only used Mathnasium a few times -- but it was what our daughter needed to get back on track with Geometry. I really liked the flexibility. You can do private, semi private or just group help, so you can tailor a program that works for your student.
Amity has done great since starting at Mathnasium a year ago. She went from an F in High Honors Algebra to a "B". She is getting an "A" in Honors Geometry.
We could not be happier with the help we got at Mathnasium.
Amity continues there on an "as needed" basis. Soon we will start her on a regular SAT/ACT prep program.

It is very relaxed atmosphere, easy to learn and practice math. My kids loved being there, math games and other math activities makes boring math fun and exciting to learn. Thanks for all the work and patience you do with kids.

No matter how long of a busy day Christina has at school, I pick her up in Watchung and she says let's go to tutoring. I never say no because Mathnasium has given her a great level of confidence. In fact this year she was so confident after taking a test she knew she aced it. Disappointed when she got it back, she brought the graded paper to tutoring they checked it over and the teacher had made several mistakes. I applaud Christina's confidence,THANK YOU Mathnasium

My 9th grader joined mathnasium after having difficulties in advanced geometry class.
John and his team not only taught her the material for class, but instilled confidence and restored learning skills that were lost during the pandemic remote learning.
John went above and beyond our expectations in his commitment to her success. He made sure that she had the review materials she needed to continue practicing at home and was always available to meet with her remotely or in person if she had any questions after the sessions.
John also kept us informed on her progress and was always there to advise us with any questions we had. In short this was a real life saver, especially after covid where so much of the learning skills were lost. I cannot recommend this place enough.
