There was a significant gap of math that my daughter missed moving from another state to Alabama. I knew she needed a tutor to fill in those gaps in order for her to succeed thru the remainder of the year going into next year. Jake and the Mathnasium team exceeded my expectations. I really appreciate the time and lesson plans geared toward those gaps. They made the math so easy to understand and built up more confidence in my daughter to understand her gaps more. Even after the gaps closed and the understanding was there, she still second guessed herself in things she knew. Jake and his team put that confidence back in her and really made her feel good about her knowing math. She is exceeded at her next level of math now. We have used Mathnasium Inverness for four of our children. Our oldest used it for ACT prep and scored a 35 in the math section,. Our struggling math student got caught up and even ahead in school math, and our youngest two shored up their math skills and stayed ahead of the curve. They all love going and think the instructors are awesome. We are so grateful for the program!

When my grandson started high school. He was in advanced algebra. It was difficult and he was not doing well. He enrolled in the program in Inverness and within a short period of time , he raised his grade from a D to a C. At the end of the last quarter he earned an A and then a final grade of a B. Big difference. Teachers at Mathnasium are excellent. If your child is struggling, call them and Enroll in Mathnasium.
Mathnasium has been extremely helpful in helping our daughter to understand math. Jake at Inverness has consistently gone well out of his way to make time for harder concepts and to help with test prep. We cannot say enough good things about him and all of the staff. We were extremely pleased with the program and the staff at the Inverness (Birmingham, AL) Mathnasium. Our child made an enormous amount of progress while enrolled in the program. Often, many of the teachers would gather and try to solve puzzling math problems that were part of the school homework, teaching different techniques along the way. Observing people applying different methods to solve these problems can be better teaching than actual teaching. We can unreservedly recommend Jake and all of the staff at the Inverness Mathnasium.

My daughter missed 5 days of school, due to illness, TWICE. Falling behind in math, she was really floundering with test scores in the 50s. Mathnasium was able to help her, with the type of instruction she needed. She finished the year strong, now with scores in the 90s.
