We love the virtual At Home learning. We have moved 70 miles away from our Mathnasiem. I wasn’t sure we would be able to continue until I talked to Jake Johnson at the Inverness location. We tried out the At Home Learning program and love it. I can’t praise Jake and his team enough.
There is no better place to take your kids for tutoring in math or for working ahead. The tutors are excellent and know how to connect with the kids. Our daughter has improved significantly and actually looks forward to the sessions. She used to dread math and now loves the challenge.
Mathnasium provides the constant review and practice that my daughter needs. I tried to review with her on my own but it just led to arguments. Now, I let mathnasium handle all math related practice. No more fights at home and my daughter has grown confident in her math skills. After a year, she has gone from making Cs and Ds to all As!

We started in Dec 19. My child’s knowledge of math and confidence has grown tremendously. Now, we are using the At Home version during the quarantine. Our appointment time is 9am when he is fresh. Mathnasiem has been a wonderful experience. And I can’t say enough praise for Jake at Inverness. What an asset he is.

We were extremely pleased with the program and the staff at the Inverness (Birmingham, AL) Mathnasium. Our child made an enormous amount of progress while enrolled in the program. Often, many of the teachers would gather and try to solve puzzling math problems that were part of the school homework, teaching different techniques along the way. Observing people applying different methods to solve these problems can be better teaching than actual teaching. We can unreservedly recommend Jake and all of the staff at the Inverness Mathnasium.

The scheduled routine of attending Mathnasium has eliminated the demanding , begging and threatening fashion of getting math homework complete and preparing for math tests done. My daughter has added a new want to her list, “ Mom , sign me up for 1.5 hours two days this week “. Just knowing she has interest and is preparing for quizzes and tests has taken a worry off my mind. Wish we had started mathnasium two years ago!
The student seems to be progressing. Would like more frequent progress reports.

My daughter missed 5 days of school, due to illness, TWICE. Falling behind in math, she was really floundering with test scores in the 50s. Mathnasium was able to help her, with the type of instruction she needed. She finished the year strong, now with scores in the 90s.
