My son loves Mathnasium! He gets so excited to go there after school everyday. The drop in program gives us the flexibility to take him as often as he wants!
Mathnasium has been amazing for both my kids! It is giving them the tools they need to understand math in a way that they have never had before. They have so much more confidence in school and in themselves. They both say math is one of their favorite subjects now. They still have work to do but I feel like they know there's light at the end of a dark tunnel now. They get excited when they know it's a day to go to mathnasium. The instructors are so patient and are always trying to teach in a way that makes sense. We are so grateful that there is a place like this!

My daughter has regained the confidence she lost within a few weeks of attending Mathnasium. That alone is priceless. She is excited to go to the Cottonwood Heights Center. My 5th grade daughter was so angry when I first talked about taking her to Mathnasium. But after her assessment she has never resisted going and is always in A REALLY good mood after her time there. When I ask how it was she makes a face, like any true tween would about math. But her enthusiasm for going each time, her mood afterward, and her weekly progress tell the real story.
We have been very pleased with Mathnasium. We had one unfortunate incident but it was taken care of immediately and I was very impressed with how it was handled. The real success is picking my daughter up and seeing her excitement over math. She is really starting to understand it and she is so happy about it. Thank you to all the wonderful instructors who have been kind and great teachers.

This is just what we were looking for to help our daughter strengthen her math skills and fill in the gap that she was missing in school.
My daughter was frustrated by and struggling in her math work in school. We recognized some missing pieces in her understanding and we needed someone outside the immediate family to help fill those. This program has encouraged a much more positive attitude about math in general. She enjoys going to her sessions and putting in the time there. She has moved forward quickly and steadily. She has been going for approximately one month and everything so far is very positive.
My granddaughter severely struggles with math because she missed so many steps along the way. She is now feeling better about math, even though her concepts seem daunting. The instructors at her sessions make her feel happy and successful. I am very pleased with the program and the success she is having. She hasn't even argued about going to class 3 days a week!!! The prizes are a great incentive for her to keep going:)
