My daughter was able to improve her grades
Very helpful and supportive for the kids, very professional , thank you so much.
Tan is very dedicated and patient with the students. He takes care in hiring good teachers that know how to motivate and encourage the kids. Highly recommend Tan and Mathnasium South Austin
Mathnasium in South Austin is a perfect match for our daughters needs. Mr Tan and his team of professionals have always made it fun and have been able to adjust schedules when needed.
They’re the best.
Again, Tan and his team of wizards taught by son what his professors couldn't and he passed a class with a higher grade than we were hoping for.
Thanks Mathnasium for being there when we needed you, again!
Tan is great. Very helpful with our child.
My son, 9 years old in the 3rd grade, has really improved his confidence and liking of math since we started tutoring at Mathnasium.
They work with us with my daughter having a busy schedule. Very knowledgeable.
I really enjoy someone else helping my children with math. I could tell they were more confident even after just 3 months with solving math problems.
My only suggestion would be an online appointment system where you could schedule or reschedule appointments.
My kids enjoyed attending the sessions. The staff were very attentive and adjusted to our family needs. I highly recommend it.
Mathnasium is very expensive but it works. My 13-year old daughter was doing well on most subjects but Math one year ago, and after scoring a 62nd percentile on the Math STAAR test for 6th grade I got really worried and decided to contact Mathnasium South Austin on April 2018. My daughter started attending Mathnasium about 9 hours a month in August 2018. Yes, she complained a LOT during the first few weeks and said she hated attending Math tutoring, but after a few weeks she got used to it. This is what your kid will get out of Mathnasium: Lots of practice. If your kid doesn't know the multiplication tables by heart, for example, she will master them. Mathnasium tests your kid during their first session to identify the areas where he/she needs help, and then proceeds to give them tons of problems to solve during each session. And that's how you get better at Math, by practicing a LOT. I like their method in general, if there is one thing I'd change, is that I feel like my daughter made progress really slowly during the school year (her grades did improve a little, nothing spectacular.) Mathnasium kept sending me progress reports saying: "Your kid has mastered 24 out of 37 skills", and then 2 months later: "Your kid has mastered 27 out of 37 skills". Really? Only 3 new skills mastered in 2 months? My daughter says the teachers often ask her to redo work on topics she already mastered, I don't understand why. She's a smart girl and should be making progress much faster, it kind of makes me feel like maybe Mathnasium doesn't want her to get to 37/37 skills mastered because then I'll stop paying. But I absolutely, 100% recommend Mathnasium, why? Because a few weeks ago I got the Math STAAR test results for 7th grade: My daughter scored in the 90th percentile!! She went up from 62nd percentile to 90th percentile in one year, that is a HUGE improvement! And I do think one of the main reasons she improved was because of all the practice she got at Mathnasium. We do plan to continue with Mathnasium during 8th grade and I plan to recommend it to my friends.
High quality tutoring. The owner is very professional and the tutors are very good at teaching the math to the students. Highly recommend!
Tan is great to work with and is so patient. We love him!
Both our kids have progressed in math greatly under Tan’s direction through Mathnasium.
We are very grateful.
Love the parience of the tutors.
My son, who is now 14, started with Mathnasium (in South Austin) about a year and a half ago. He's been in private school his entire life and ended up between 2-3 grade levels behind (depending upon the specific topic). He doesn't have any learning/behavior challenges, it's that this school didn't know how to teach math. My son attended Mathnasium 3 times per week and never, ever, had a negative experience. They were consistent with how they worked with him and he was ALWAYS happy to go. He enjoyed working with their teachers and knew them by name. The owner, Tan, has been wonderful--I can't say enough good things about him. These people are patient, kind, non-judgemental, and effective at teaching. My son is now caught up and he's managing very well at his grade level. Best of all, he actually enjoys math now! That is the best outcome possible because now he doesn't dread numbers and is confident in his ability to navigate through math problems. I will be sending my daughter there, too, when she needs it. I only wish I found it sooner. I don't know about other Mathnasium locations, but the one run by Tan is the one that I can recommend with confidence. It's worth every penny.
Excellent servicc and brilliant, friendly tutor.
My son actually enjoyed going to mathnasium. He liked earning the rewards. We will definitely do it again next summer!
My grandchildren have done really well at Mathnasium! Our grandson is now doing well in his high school math classes. The tutors at Mathnasium helped him a lot in learning & understanding concepts. They also helped him in improving his confidence in his abilities! They've helped our granddaughter in learning her math times tables. She is also gaining confidence in her abilities.
We have been very pleased with the Mathnasium program!

I have always had a fantastic experience with the mathematicians and management at the South Austin Mathnasium. My son got A's all year and an A on his final exam thanks to their help. Outstanding business!
Our son was able to catch up with his second grade math and even move into 3rd grade work.
Being thoroughly impressed with staff and methodology used to teach math, I have taken upon myself to be an ambassador & promote mathnasium to people I know...1-2 of which have signed up for math services. This is based on quality of instruction, daughter's math grades improving & most importantly...she loves math! Thank you south austin mathnasium!
They have helped both my kids get through many math issues. Both my kids did catch up intervention younger and then was able to drop in for support in middle school and high school even for a summer college placement test. They always spoke highly and endearingly about several tutors who have been there for some time. Tan is a so helpful with scheduling.
Grey seems to have benefited from his instruction based on how he is approaching math as he begins the school year and we would not hesitate to enroll him for further support is necessary. Thank you.
Your staff was wonderful. Our son loved coming to Mathnasium.

Kathy at Mathnasium in SW Austin was great to work with and went above and beyond to help. She was very flexible and adjusted to my daughter's learning style. My daughter did summer sessions with Mathnasium and was definitely well-prepared for class once school started.
