We needed to get my grandson some math help for the summer to help close the gap/difficulties he was having during the school year. We chose mathnasium and they assessed him and immediately began working with him on areas of concern. He actually enjoyed it. We may possibly re-enroll him this school year once we look at his beginning of the year data.

There isn't enough time for one on one interaction. Some kids aren't self motivated and they need additional attention to push them to do more than one page in their notebook. I don't know what the ratio is for tutor to students but seems as though more should be hired. I appreciate what Mathnasium did for my great niece. You helped her with the STARR exam. For that I am grateful. I just realized that my niece needs more one on one interaction. She's not self motivated. Have to find another resource for her.

I enrolled my daughter in the tutoring program to enhance her chances and knowledge in math for STAAR testing. The tutors were nice and she really enjoyed working with the Mathnasium staff. Needless to say, she passed her 5th-grade testing. We will most likely be back just to stay on top of things. I've also told others that seek help in math to consider this program for tutoring.
