Two of my kids have gone to Mathnasium and they both loved it. The tutors are professional and incredibly friendly. Several years ago, my son needed help with homework, but when we would sit down together there was always tension. We decided to give Mathnasium a try, and it was the best decision. A few years later, same situation with my daughter, especially after a year of distance learning. Mathnasium was able to assist with their homework, review topics covered at school and build their confidence. Prizes are a plus, as far as my children were concerned. Scheduling session on-line is so convenient and also flexible. I highly recommend Mathnasium, La Costa.

Jeremy and the staff at Mathnasium are extremely available, responsive and our 10 yr old who loves math loves coming to Mathnasium. He catapulted two grade levels in 8 months and loves that they don't make him "practice" more than he needs to once he learns a concept. He loves the stamps and prizes he can earn as well as the white board tables. I love that I can drop in any time or schedule. Only think I would change is more hours earlier on the day on Friday when we home school. They have great online options too and we're fabulous through COVID.

My son’s grade went from a C- to an A- in 2 months. We continued through the summer so he didn’t regress, and he’s kept an A- for the past 6 months of this school year so far. He has more confidence and doesn’t say he’s bad at math anymore. Definitely worth the investment.

My son really benefited from the one-on-one support with his homework and general math. At mathnasium he could ask questions and get the re-inforcement there may not be time for in class. We found a system and tutors at mathnasium that really supported his learning needs in a positive way. It was always difficult to get him to leave at the end of a session, he wanted to stay much longer and really enjoyed the reward system. We would love to return to mathnasium but our schedule doesn't allow it this term. We really enjoy their summer programs and plan to do one again.
The staff is awesome and the kids have become very efficient at solving math problems. The actually wish they could have lessons everyday!
I like the methods that you use. As a parent, it’s easy for me to understand and see exactly what is being taught. I wish our schools would use your methodology!
Also my son likes the instructors and they seem to have a good rapport with the kids. I like seeing the high school/university age kids teaching as my son seems less shy around them.
Would wish for one thing— more flexibility ie to purchase 10-20-30-or more sessions to use as time allows. I understand consistency is important but our schedule can get so busy and we need flexibility. Even if we only come regularly for 2 weeks at a time I feel the experience still benefits my child overall.

We were only there short time but Ryan and his staff are amazing. My daughter actually continued asking to go back on a regular basis. Unfortunately, we mov d out of state if not we would've continued the program she learned so much in a short amount of time

My 4th grader loves Mathnasium. They make it fun, and both her teacher and I can see increased confidence in her math skills.
My son went to Mathnasium over the summer to avoid learning loss. He practiced and applied when he learned in school the prior grade and picked up some good tips. While it is still early in the new school year, he seems to be faring well in his 6th grade math class.
Cost was expensive... Double what my sister in law pays in Naples, Florida. After 3 months, not sure how much progress my child made. All the instructors were great. She did not give me any problems attending. Need more feed back on child progress and a lower cost.
The teachers at La Costa Mathnasium are so great with my son. They have helped him come along in his math and he is always happy there. They have a great facility. Very well run.

My daughter had fallen a bit behind in math but did not like the fact of having to learn and do math on an IPad as the facility across the street from us offered.. I did some research and fortunately found Mathnasium. I tricked my daughter into going to Mathnasium and taking a placement test just to see where she was at. and the rest is history.. She loved it from day one!! She has learned so much! Her school teacher cannot believe the difference in her confidence and concentration level. I thought 3 days a week was pushing it a little since she does competitive sports but not only does she go, I have a hard time getting her to leave. She loves everyone there, especially Mrs. Claudia. They are all so patient and nice.

Mathnasium has filled in the common core gaps that were never taught due to the change to CC. Our son goes 3xs a week
so worth it. He would not be doing as well without their help!

kind, patient and greets people warmly. If he is ever stressed or annoyed, he
does not show it. My children adored Claudia. We will be back next summer!
Mathnasium has been a blessing to our family since 6th grade. Unfortunately you don't always get a great math teacher that your child connects with. Thankfully Mathnasium has been there for us whenever that happened. Now in 10th grade my son went from an F in math after Christmas to finishing the year out with a B+ thanks to Jeremy and the team.
