As a 4th-grader in the AMP (accelerated math) program last year (2Phone number removed), my son struggled from the get-go. They started off with a 5th-grade curriculum, but he was lacking the 4th-grade skills he was supposed to start learning in the last trimester of 2020 (3rd grade), which didn't happen thanks to the COVID lockdown and distance learning.
We enrolled him at Mathnasium in Wellington in late December. By that point, his self-confidence was pretty low. But after multiple weekly sessions at Mathnasium, he soon mastered all of his 4th-grade skills and made great strides catching up on the 5th-grade skills he was learning in class.
In May 2021 he took the 5th grade FSA. Honestly, I was expecting that he'd score a 3 or maybe 4 at best. So I was blown away to discover that he scored a 5!! He totally exceeded my expectations and I don't think it would have been possible without the team at Mathnasium. With their help and my son's hard work, he mastered the necessary concepts and boosted his self-confidence. I won't hesitate to go back if at any time he starts struggling again. Mathnasium scores an A+ in my book!
My daughter Chanelle is in 5 grade Amp program. When she started 5 grade it was apparent she became increasingly frustrated and struggled to keep up. This was difficult for Chanelle whose personality is hard working and determined. She ended the first quarter of the first semester with a -C. Chanelle was crying and asked me to call Mr. Keith from Mathnasium- we did. Within the first two weeks of attending Mathnasium we noticed changes. First, Chanelle was not having anxieties about attending math classes. She shared that now she understood math concepts better, like putting together a puzzle. Chanelle stated that," math was" making sense"! Chanelle became more confident in her ability to do math. Each quarter Chanelle's grade continue to improve.
As proud parents we are so please to report to Mathasium that Chanelle final grade is a- A.
"And to put the icing on the cake " she score 4 on 6 grade AMP FSA.

We used magnesium in the summer to keep up our skills between first and second grade. Initially, my son was very excited about going to Mathnasium but as the summer progressed, he wanted to go less and less. The staff was able to keep him engaged and focused. Fast forward to late September… He is doing great in math so far this year. He is confident, ambitious, and fast! I am sure they played a big part in this. We will probably do summer reinforcement every year.
The entire staff and Keith, the owner, have been amazing with my 2 boys. They have nurtured their enthusiam for math immensely!

My kids have really enjoyed the Mathnasium experience. The staff is outstanding. My youngest child really improved the math standardized test scores, reaching 5 out of 5 in the latest tests! My other child received outstanding support for his summer Algebra 1 course (grade A) and for his current Geometry course. Keith, the owner, is fantastic to work with, has assembled a great staff in Wellington, really knows how to support children in achieving their best results, and has provided us outstanding advice on how to have our children optimize the math learning process. Hunter's math skills and grades have improved since coming to Mathnasium when he was in 3rd grade ... he is just about to enter 5th and still coming to you guys.
Our son was smart in math concepts but slow in problem solving. He improved dramatically just after two months of Mathnasium. He scored 5 on his math FSA! His math level at the end of 5th grade was a five on two categories and a six on the other two categories. We are extremely pleased!
