we love mathnasium. The only minor complaint is scheduling two kids as the email confirmation does not state which child so it is tough to verify and / or reschedule
My daughter had a good experience! Great homework and test help in which I couldn't help at home as the math methods have changed significantly since I was in school. Mathnasium also customized to the needs of my daughter. They helped her advance and stay engaged.
My son complains of working on math at home, but somehow at mathnasium he wouldn't stop working. I've not the improvement, and he's asking me to take him back.
We took place in the summer program which was a perfect situation for our family with two kids, one in elementary school and one in middle school. We like the flexibility and the assessment process and work given. We elected not to take place in the school year program because almost $600 a month is not feasible for our family for a single subject in school and the limited time in the school year and location of the center would not be worth it as it would be tough to make it 2X per week. I do think they should include Friday and Sunday hours.

only wish my location opened earlier on Wednesdays - its an early day, every wed. all students get out at 135pm....
My son likes math a lot. At school he didn't feel maths interesting. As they were repeating the same things again and again. So I joined him here in Mathnasium. He really liked the class. When he was in 4th grade we got to know about Cogat. After joining Mathnasium for an year plus he wrote Cogat. It was his first attempt and he selected in Cogat.
