Management is flexible and eager to accommodate
Excellent attention in a positive environment. My daughter struggles with academics in general but it is never a fight to get her to Mathnasium. She goes happily because of her own sense of improvement and the rewards she earns along the way.

Math has never been Naomi's favorite subject. Like many other children in public schools she had difficulty learning math under the Common Core curriculum. When she reached middle school, that terrible foundation in math really began to crumble. A sixth grader should not need to use touch points for addition! Her self-esteem was terrible and she pretty much had given up on ever getting a passing grade in math. Too many nights were spent crying and struggling through math that she should have been able to do years before in her education. She was very embarrassed and wanted to do better. When we started at Mathnasium a couple of months ago it was like a light turned back on for her. The missing building blocks in her education were finally identified and addressed. She loves coming to Mathnasium and we saw an immediate improvement in her attitude toward her homework, and in her self-esteem. Her test scores have not increased by much yet, but it seems like she's having an easier time understanding the lessons. I believe that we will see a more substantial change once the new school year begins in the Fall.

My daughter has been going to mathnasium consistently for over a year. Before mathnasium she was an average student but struggled in math and continued to fall behind. Her lack of confidence in the subject made homework time a headache. Her grades began to slip as the lessons grew harder and more complicated. After mathnasium's assessment it was determined that she was significantly behind for her grade level.
The team at mathnasium put together a math plan and a year later I have a completely different math student. Her grades have improved tremendously and she no longer "shuts down" when faced with something she doesn't understand. She is no longer behind her peers and she enjoys math.
The team at Mathnasium is positive, responsive, and extremely helpful. At any visit, I can ask Greg or Cathy how she's doing and they can give me an accurate assessment of my daughter's skill set and where she needs continued improvement. They have a great grasp on her as a student and continue to adjust her plan accordingly. When I ask for additional work outside her plan (or standardized tests) they generally have a packet ready by her next session.
I watched my daughter continue to improve as a student and its all due to the work and dedication of the people at mathnasium and its program. Its been a great experience.

Mathnasium is great. Greg and his instructors make math fun for the kids to the point where they don’t want to leave when it comes time to pick them up. Atmosphere is bright, clean and relaxing with mellow tunes in the background that act more like white noise to help concentration. They are open after school and on weekends so there’s always time to fit in a math session. And the location is super convenient with plenty of parking. Highly recommended for any child who needs more practice with math to build up their confidence and speed in problem solving, and especially those that are too timid to ask questions in class.
