We have attended Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos for over six years now, and they have continued to provide steady and effective math instruction to fill gaps in learning, as well as to accelerate learning, when appropriate. Their personalized learning plans are based on ongoing assessment, so I always feel like my kids are learning at their pace, based on concept mastery. They also take time to help with concepts my kids might be struggling with in the classroom. Kobad and his management crew are highly responsive to our needs. I also appreciate that I can make changes to our schedule through their online scheduling program. Their new location is also a huge plus; it's spacious with ample parking for parents.

Mathnasium has been awesome for my two boys for the last 4+ years. When my oldest was in 5th grade, Mathnasium gave him the confidence he needed to get ahead. And my youngest is doing excellent in Algebra in 7th grade because of his Mathnasium foundation. I recommend it for all students - those that need help catching up, staying confident at grade level, or those trying to get ahead.
My daughter improved in 3rd to 4th grade math from 1's and 2's to 3's and 2's in math in 4 months!

I love how they tailor the program to the individual. You can have multiple children go at the same time but they will teach them at the level they currently are. It especially worked well to bridge the summer.

Mathnasium of Campbell/ Los Gatos helped my boys make gains in their state testing, but even more than that, they have given my boys greater confidence in math. Confidence in math is EVERYTHING—They face new math concepts with a different mindset than before. Kobad, the managerial staff, and the tutors make student-connection their first priority. It is obvious that they care about the kids and families who come through their doors. As a mom, their flexibility with scheduling is huge; I especially appreciate that i can rearrange their sessions online when our schedule changes.

Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos is such a godsend to our family. My kids run the spectrum of math needs, and Mathnasium has been the answer, offering both challenge and extra support in a small student-to-tutor ratio. Their instructors are young and enthusiastic. Even my math-reticent child enjoys his sessions. I couldn't be more pleased. The difference showed in his standardized math scores in school. Mine have become more confident in math and in all of their schoolwork as a result. I am also thankful for Mathnasium's flexibility with scheduling. I can change tutoring sessions online with ease when our schedule changes, even on the same day! I now have three of my kids in the center because it's WORTH EVERY PENNY!
We have three kids, each very different, in the program does a great job of meeting all of them where they are and guiding them along to great progress. The teachers have been a consistently very good quality. I would recommend Mathnasium to anyone without reservation.
My daughters have learned so much from the Mathnasium program. Both of their math skills have improved and they are getting A's in their math classes at school. One area that would work better for us is if we were able to purchase a plan for a certain amount of classes (for example, a package of 20 that can be used in a 6 month period). Both girls are very busy with school activities and it is sometimes difficult for them to make it to Mathnasium twice per week. Since my girls have been taking classes on and off for several years, this would be a great alternative to having to stop when they get too busy.
Our daughters have learned from the tutoring, and no longer fear Math.

My children truly enjoy the tutoring at mathnasium. It helps them gain confidence to do well in math, gives them a different perspective at times, and make their transition back into math after summer easy. I like that the scheduling is flexible, and there is no pressure to do homework as well.
Kobald and Glynda were wonderful. They created a specialized program for my daughter and allowed her to come in before the other kids got there so it could be a quiet leaning environment as she is easily overstimulated. They took the time to create a program that worked for her and she successfully achieved her goals.
You were responsive at all times and were accommodating to the kids' schedules. The kids enjoyed going to Mathanasium.
We are still improving and catching up with the 'core' system but Mathnasium has helped to make math fun, get extra practice in and has instilled a confidence I now see in my daughter that is helping her improve in math in general. Thank you.
My daughter struggled when it came to math. I am not sure if she actually struggled with the math itself, as her teacher and I could see that the knowledge was there, or if she just froze when taking tests and assessments making it seem as though the knowledge was not there as she would either not do well or not finish tests/assessments. Regardless of which was true the fact was that she lacked confidence in math, and this made it so that she did not like the subject. We purchased a one-month trial for Mathnasium that was donated to our school auction and gave it a try. She loved it and we signed her up. She started at the end of June, and she gained her confidence very quickly. That next school year she was placed in the advanced math class and suddenly math became her favorite subject. We moved and were only able to attend for 8 months, but in that short time she loved it. At her new school she found herself having to talk to her teacher to request more of a challenge as the work she was being given was "too easy". In her online work she is doing math that is one grade ahead. If it was not for Mathnasium and their wonderful team, I don't think this would have been the case.
As far as administratively I mostly worked with Alex and sometimes Kyle. They both were very helpful and always answered all of my questions. Alex met with me several times throughout her time there to discuss and review her progress and to discuss the next steps. There were several times while we attended that we had to change our scheduled time sometimes at the very last minute and they were always accommodating and helpful. I have told all of my friends and family and would highly recommend Mathnasium and specifically the Los Gatos location if your child is struggling or just lacks the confidence in the foundations of math. As we all know those early years truly determine how they will do with math in the future because if they don't understand the fundamentals of math they will only continue to struggle as the math gets harder. The wonderful thing about Mathnasium is that they will assess your child and place them where they are based on their knowledge and not based on their age or grade level. My daughter and I both really liked that when she would finish a learning plan she would go back and take the same assessment as well as correct/go over her assessment that she took previously so she was able to see the problems that she missed previously as well see her progress. Thank you, Alex and all the instructors, at Mathnasium for helping rebuild my daughters love and confidence for math.
