I’ve elected to have my children enrolled in Mathnasium with the help of Kelsie Kitz, Center Director. The results speak for themselves, as my children have all displayed greater confidence and proficiency in math. Kelsie, is an amazing representative for the program as she sits down with me and patiently explains the benefit of mathnasium for my children. She’s always available to listen to me when I have a question and takes time each month to review their progress with me as a parent. She genuinely cares about children and helping to improve their abilities in math.

I have two 8th graders who heard about mathnasium from their friends. When school started this year, their math scores were not well. They asked to go to mathnasium. Within three days of attending mathnasium, their math grade went up an entire letter grade. They no longer dred math and every time they have math homework, they request to go to mathnasium to do their homework, then get assistance to look over it. Their confidence is building. They have only been going for one month! I'm so happy for them, their confidence is growing and they no longer dred their homework. They're starting to gain confidence and math skills.

Our son really didn't want to do his math homework and used lots of avoidance tactics. In his first 6 weeks at Mathnasium, his attitude has improved toward math and at his school and his scores improved by over 13%. His father and I are very impressed!

My daughter was placed in Math intervention at her school due to her weakness on this subject. After being with Mathnasium for just about 2 months i've been informed by her teacher that she'll be pulled out from intervention at her school due to her great progress as she's now at par with her classmates. Thanks Mathnasium for working with us and helping my daughter.
My daughter disliked Math at school more then anything. I was so nervous that her dislike of the subject would be the same at Mathnasium. I was wrong, she asks to go and loves it there! We are noticing an improvement in her confidence with Math, Which is so great! We still have a long way to go to get her caught up to her grade level but have made huge strides in such a short amount of time and we are confident that she will be there by the end of the school year, heck we are confident she will be beyond her grade level by the end of the school year!
I'd love to see more detailed monthly reports. I would like to know what percentage they get on pre and post tests, know what general topics were completed, what percentage (roughly) they've completed of their current level, etc. I like that you let new know how attentive they've been!
My daughter has been at Mathnasium for almost 4 months. She has become much more confident and enjoys attending the tutoring sessions 3-4 days each week. I am very happy with the progress that she has made at the center, as well as in school.

Mathnasium has done a wonderful job of working with my daughter on math facts and mastery.
I think that the program is GREAT. However, I think it's the people working in the center that make or break that impression. I like to see engaged, mature staff who really like their jobs and have ambition in the field of education. Thanks for being great SE Boise Mathnasium!
So far we are very happy to see our daughters confidence build! She loves going and all of the tutors are very helpful!
I am impressed with how detailed the initial assessment is to determine where a student is missing important information and then with the assessment results, forming a lesson plan that is student specific. The token system really works for my daughter - reward vs. punitive measures. The environment itself is open and welcoming, and the staff are great. There is an overall enthusiasm and sense of community to reach the same goal: conquering math by really understanding the concepts and approaching it the way the student learns best. Overall, the result is the student feels empowered, not ashamed or embarrassed because making mistakes is considered okay and a part of the learning process.

Just Love Mathnasium I have already seen great results with my children's math. My youngest child's teacher said her was really understanding her math and getting much better grades. I was told this would happen I just didn't believe it.
