All the staff have been incredible with the three kids I have taken to Mathnasium. My favorite part of Mathnasium is that my kids love going, because they love learning new things about math. They really do make math fun!! My kids have never been behind in math, my goal is to keep them ahead of the game. I think Juliana is learning the math skills she has shown that she needs to learn. This is what she tells me and I know she would not move on unless this were so.
As both a client, having enrolled my grandchild, and as a Mathnasium employee for over 2 years, I believe 100% in what Mathnasium is doing! The material is unsurpassed. Mathnasium has researched for decades and found the easiest way for kids to learn math concepts and this is the way the material is designed and presented, often quite differently from the way the same concepts are taught in schools. But the thing that really stands out about Mathnasium and makes it great, is the people. Yes, we are "math" people. We love it, understand it, and do it well; but we also love the kids and would do anything to help them learn. I have seen employees come early, stay late, reach into far corners of their minds for ways to explain a concept. When we sit with a student, nothing is more important than that student. We figure out how they are thinking and correct any errors. Encouragement is profuse and correction is gentle. The greatest reward is when the light of understanding comes on in a kid's eyes, and they say, "I've got this now. I can do it!"

My son has ADHD and has struggled to focus in math class for quite sometime. We thought it was time to get him some outside help. I went to Mathnasium blindly; not having heard any reviews one way or the other. I am SO GLAD I called. My son really, really enjoys going to Mathnasium. He is getting the one-on-one teaching that an ADHDer needs but can't get in a regular class. He's only been going for a month so far but after every session he tells me: "I really like this place. It's such a calm and relaxing atmosphere. It makes me feel good to be here." So not only is he getting caught up and on track, but he's enjoying the journey! Couldn't be happier.
Flexible, friendly, reasonable
We have tried other tutoring services that have fallen short of what was promised. In the short time my son has been at Mathnasium we have seen not only an improvement in his grades but also confidence and hope in him. He has also had good comments to report when asked what he thinks about Mathnasium. We also appreciate the availability of the centers hours which are very flexible with an active high schooler.
My child is a Junior in High School. He was struggling severely in Math. I took him to Mathnasium, and that was the BEST thing that happen to my son. The staff did a great job identifying his deficiencies and putting a plan together to get my child competency level improved. Meanwhile, working with him everyday with his current assignments. My son has steadily improved and recently made an 80 on an Algebra 2 unit test. That's something that has NEVER happened. Canaan, my son, says he feel like the staff does not judge him. He feels comfortable asking questions, and enjoys going to tutorials at Mathnasim. The staff helps him with his homework and helps him understand his homework. Canaan's math teacher at Heath Highschool emailed me and said she could see Canaan's progress. I'm so thankful to Mathnasium.
